They could if they wanted to, but the movie aesthetic isn't something any of them have any real experience with outside of a few add-ons.

they certainly could, but the thing about third parties is when they do make full figures they usually appeal to classics collectors, which is probably at least twice as large an audience as movie collectors.

I say when a larger portion of kids who grew up with the movies are at the age to drop 3rd party cash on their dream toys, then yes. They can and possibly will.

As it's been said, right now G1 still rules with an iron fist to the point where 3rd Party Beast Wars should be about ready to start showing up but still haven't. Curious about how those would turn out.

Something I wonder about is how large a market for 3rd party non-G1 will ever be. Not because of the number of fans, but because both of those series have somewhat modern toys. The film stuff in particular may be missing a few items like Dino, but will it be a style worth investing in for 3rd Party when so many film characters have been done enough times and well enough by Hasbro that there aren't many left to improve on? I guess we'll see. Modernizing G1 is much more clear cut at this point in time. You've got characters who never had toys in 20 years and characters whose toys had next to no articulation or looked very different from their media appearances.

I'd personally love to see 3rd Party tackle some more unusual styles. They could do some crazy stuff with all of the moving bits on a film design when retail budget and safety concerns aren't as much of an issue.

Who would pay that sort of money for a Bayformer anyways?

Haters gonna hate. I still love my Bayformer figures. Whatever crap the movies get, they gave us some pretty neat toys and revitalized interest in the franchise with the population at large. That said, I'd wait until 2014 when TF4 rolls out for renewed interest in the movie toy line. Who knows, by then we may just get guys like Dino and Leadfoot released. Until then, 3Ps like Fans Want It and Cubex are holding it down with excellent quality add-ons for existing figures.

I read somewhere here that there were deluxe and human alliance dino's supposedly to be made. I'm hoping, I regard him as an assassin's creed infused movie cliffjumper. :D

A third party manufacturer CAN make anything... The question isn't can they, it's will they.
