The Next Call of Duty May Have Just Been Revealed in the Strangest Way - IGN

Old is new I guess.

But I have since parted ways with CoD.

So this is a hard maybe for me.

 

No single player, no buy.

 

I believe it has been stated that this one will indeed have single player.

 

Well then...

Will buy but no pre-order, standard issue. Unless it is night vision goggles or remote control toy Hummer that drains the battery in 30 minutes.

 

I'm genuinely waiting for them to just go FIFA or Madden style.

Call of Duty 2019, Call of Duty 2020 etc.

It's been years since I've bought one of these (Black Ops 1). I came close last time out. We'll see how we go this time.

 

I misread that as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and I was about to get utterly incensed that they were trying to release that game again for yet more dosh. Then I re-read it. And yet, I'm still not happy. They ended the Modern Warfare story incredibly well; Captain Price to got to see Makarov literally hang and smoke a cigar doing so.

Roman numerals were more Treyarch’s thing. Infinity Ward always did straight up numbers. Guess not here...

 

If it was, it would be shown as IV, as V was 5.

 

You don’t get it. When they did Black Ops four last year, they didn’t do IV. They literally did IIII on the boxart.
