I would not even take that X-Spanse as a free gift. I own it. Super fussy transformation scheme with flimsy low-quality plastic. Maybe I'm exaggerating but this figure has been the only thing I've regretted collecting in the last five years. Compare this figure to a commander class figure (which is just $15 more) and you can really see how Hasbro cut corners on build quality. You've been warned!

 

I'm going to say you are exaggerating a bit. Sure there were a couple spots that needed to be hit with some floor polish/superglue to create better friction, mostly the wings. Other than that I have no issue with the transformation and with his new claws I got off eBay looks much better. Also got a flight stand for jet mode. This has quickly become one of my favorite shelves.

FINALLY Got a GI Joe Retro FANG Helicopter! (Got it at the Panorama City Walmart that usually has nothing as it's in Tweakerville) I had zero idea it was a new mold! Thought it was just the 25th Updated version of the original mold but no it's completely new. They solved my biggest complaints about the original too. The Missiles. They stay secure and the stickers actually stay on them! (Pic from Yo Joe of the 25th one to show the difference)

 

Nice! I’ve started looking at the classified line recently and though a lot of people are quitting collecting them because of all of the hard to get exclusive. I’m hoping Hasbro will correct their supply issues this year and make them more available??? Am I being too optimistic? Anyone seen any restocking in SoCal? Or most everyone just getting them online?

 

Dope. I’d be interested if I still collected 3.75 Joes anymore. Still, it looks like they improved that flying deathtrap.

We shall see - it would be better if they said more about the supply issues. They may have given newer updates, but I tend not to log onto most boards and other info sources since Joes have become infested with some of the most toxic losers in the community.

Some of the non-exclusive stuff has been easier to collect. The whole Snake-Eyes movie wave is easy to preorder (we’ll see if it fulfills well) and Zartan and the non-CI Cobra trooper have been popping up at online retail here and there. But yes, there’s a ways to go to see it improve reliably. I’m okay with it now since I’m largely a non-completist, but this line could get infuriating to collect if Popfindr continues to malfunction.

 

Are these still available at that price?

 

gamestop on Mission st had no transformers but did have a few Black Series like Wolff and Gree, Ackbar...lots of Power Rangers too (MMPR Blue and Black, Zeo Blue and Green, Galaxy Red single and twopack, Rita, SPD Red...)

 

Classified is too big for Joe in my eyes. For me Joe has been about Vehicles as much if not more than the Figures and 6" is too big for a vast majority of Vehicles.

I would LOVE for them to downscale the new Classified Molds to 1:18 though, the Molds are awesome.

 

What’s with those TF Deluxe and Voyager prices? Yikes!
