We appreciate that thought, but don’t worry yourself over it. Already ordered one from online. It was unlikely that Murphy Canyon Blurr was gonna last almost 24 hours on the shelf anyways. Would have saved us a lot of trouble if WalMart employees were any help when you try to call them and save us the trip lol. But they never know what a “transformer” or even an item number is when I call, if they ever even pick up.

Target is a little bit better but their numbers have been unreliable. They answer and search item numbers no problem but when I give them the dcpi for SS86 Blurr they’ll tell me stuff like, “Oh, mission valley has 8 and santee has 9”. Now, I realize this dcpi is probably shared with other wave mates but with numbers like that Ill usually take the chance. Only to get there and find out that they actually show 0 in front and back. I get that it usually takes 24 hours for their systems to update but Mission valley has been showing “8 on floor” to other stores with an actual number of 0 in stock since Sunday, which is nuts to me.

Like I said, don’t worry about it, but the thought is appreciated. I’m just hoping my ramblings will save anyone else in the area the trouble of searching or the gas money, haha. Sometimes letting folks know that there’s nothing is as helpful as there being something.

Sadly the scalpers benefit as much as collectors by us even saying there's nothing at X location. Just saved them gas money.

Anyone seeing BW Megatron or Airazor in the wild? I want to order online but I know I'll find these figures while waiting for delivery.

Yeah, reminds me of when I was in Minneapolis a while back and we had to go to PMs for sightings because BBTS used to buy out all the exclusives in that area to scalp

Airazor isn't out yet, FYI. I have seen BW Megs in the wild, though, though it was from me being lucky enough to see a Kingdom Leader box being stocked.

I lose respect with stores that do that, do they actually post it on their own site to sell too? Haven't seen anything too crazy price wise with bbts though, unlike tfsource...

Jeez, I had heard rumblings about this but didn't know the extent.

Thanks. I figured with Airazor but was hoping someone had seen one since TFSource says a Feb release is expected.

I think the biggest problem here is stores are only getting a case every so often. That’s not enough for the number of people wanting to buy in the area.

Agreed, Walmart is the worst when it comes to getting any help. I need to remember not to try and find employees to help check on an item.

Target is better since you have a code for the item and some employees can help check what’s stocked sometimes

The Riverside Dr. Target has one each of the Kingdom Cyclonus, and the Studio Series 86 Jazz and Blurr figures. I bought the one Studio Series 86 Kup. The Woodland and Davis Target stores have the DC Batcave set on sale for $22. And I found two McFarlane Toys Death Metal Batman figures at the Woodland Target.

Willing to trade SS Grimlock for either Scourge, Mcfarlane Death Metal Batman or The Drowned and the rest in cash. East bay only, thanks.

Thanks. The clear plastic on my jazz is cracking and breaking so picking up a new one is great.

Yeah, np! Always trying to look out for my fellow collectors. It's irritating asking employees for stock info cuz you can have a cool person helping out or a total dick... A couple weeks ago when I was hunting for Grimlock I asked an employee if they had it in the back and she straight up said "this isn't supposed to be out on the shelves until Feb 1st." I said "I've seen other Targets come out with them..." She replied and said "well, they aren't supposed to" with an attitude... Same Target I got Hotrod and Scourge in the beginning of January... Smh.

Anyways, I hope your Blurr gets shipped soon!

I'm a regular there but I haven't been there in a few weeks as I am currently trying to avoid going out due to the pandemic and socal ICU capacity. But I'd say that's my home store where I go to for all of my Target needs regularly.

I had to miss all in-store hunting for SS86/Kingdom releases and am relegated to waiting for them to come from online orders.

Back in the day they were proud of it, said it was a "Service" for those that didn't live near the stores that had the exclusives. In reality they were screwing over the Minneapolis/St Paul area by buying out entire store inventories. I got in their faces about it on more than one occasion including Confronting them at OTFCC (Botcon) one year.

As for now they still do it from time to time based on their Unicron Listing at $850. Granted that's an online Exclusive but the markup is excessive

I tried asking 3 different employees at the same store, and got different info regarding stock status. One actually went to the back to look but the other two couldn’t be bothered.

Amazon bumped up their ETA for Blurr and Kup to next week, so that's nice.

Jazz and Grimlock are still slated for April, so I still get to feel a sense of disappointment after every Target trip. :)
