Just curious if anyone in the east bay has seen the 86 deluxe figures? Also looking for the NECA Doc Brown and Rat King Set?

If you’re looking for 86 Hot Rod there are 4 at the Antioch Target.

I seen them all over the East Bay, they have been sighted at Hayward Target and both San Leandro Walmarts.

That's insane, they clearly did not know what they had on hand. Congrats on the find!

I just got Chromedome and Brainstorm for $30 each at Frank and Sons, from Paulmartstore. I can contact him and ask if he has anymore if you're interested. I would keep a closer eye on that dealer, as he has amazing prices, but it's too much of a risk with the virus and all. I'm still having to fight the temptation to go every day they are open.

Much like BBTS, vendors here keep the surrounding stores empty of any figure worth the drive.

Jack and squat at the South La Cienega Target in Culver. Getting really sick of bare shelves.

Confirmed. Surprised those are still there! Some Target’s are starting to get the SS 86 Deluxe wave back in. We had a few weeks of a dry spell and/or getting Wave 8 instead of SS Deluxe instead of SS 86 Deluxe. Kingdom Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader have been especially though to find recently too. Restocks don’t appear to be coming in as quickly as the SS 86 Voyagers, and Leaders I see the postings of lately.

Ahh, I miss Frank and Son. Always use to pay a visit to My D Pins and Collectibles and Toy Arena when I went down to SoCal. I have not heard of Paulmartstore. I heard F&S moved to a bigger warehouse with better parking setup too now?

That’s my area too. Yuge dry spell. The worst dry spell the likes of which the world has never seen.

Um, not all vendors. That's a major assumption, especially since some vendors buy cases, which is how they are willing to sell at cost or cheaper. Also typically vendors cannot compete with a regular hunter. And, a hunter with friends can almost dominate any area in terms of finding the goods.

    They sure did.

Scalping would explain how they were able to take pre-orders for Target exclusives like MPM Starscream and Ratchet and mark them up so much.

Well yeah. But I've gone to all possible stores in the area a few times in my travels there and they were routinely bare. I don't knock vendors but if you listen to Smodcast or TESD, both Kevin Smith and the Secret Stash crews talk about stalking out toy stores/box stores, talking to clerks for drop times, clearing out entire stock in one go. I think that's a bit more than the average collector asking for a clerk to check in back or buying doubles. But I'm talking out my butt.

You're totally not talking out your butt, unless you're being sarcastic, in which case I'm too slow to catch on. There are always going to be people like that, too, but there are also going to be opportunities to make big scores on rare finds. Me and my friends miss days too, and do not go all the time, but they have claimed to scare scalpers away because they are always there earlier and more consistently than high-markup resellers--and I believe them. Hunting/collecting is about perseverance, even if you're not visiting your local retailer everyday.

Thanks but I’m good though. Amazon should deliver on Monday now.
