Damn, looks like I missed them. Doh.
Monday they’re going to be officially available, so at least there’s that!
How do you have the time to cover so much ground in one morning?
Don't get discouraged, you'll find him soon. I've come across 9 Grimlocks in the last 2 weeks from only 4 Targets.
Dublin Target on fallon is dry aside from a single Ectotron and 7 Mando w/child (in the hot wheels aisle). Despite scanning 4 on hand leaders but nothing on shelves
For anyone looking for cobra island firefly. Aliso Viejo target on la Paz has 3. Picked one up.
Do not grieve. Soon you will find it. Have hope.
Found 2 Primal at Target Santa Ana NW, grabbed 1. Plenty of Buzzworthy Bumblebee & Spike.
On-hand doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s on shelves. I found that out when trying to find Sky Lynx.
anybody here in the south bay (sj area) still in need of SS86 deluxes?
Was at Target Douglas Walmart Lead Hill this morning, nothing to report
If anyone would be so kind to pick me up the corba island guys that would be great. Only looking to have one of each not looking to army build them.
Left a SS86 Grimlock at City Target on Masonic. Better hurry.
Some good MOTU at Colma.
Woodland Wal-mart has three of these left at $16 each in the "Clearance" section. Which is on the far side of the Electronics department...away from the Toy department.
They also a few Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe figures.
Dang, that's a little far for me to drive just to get two Fireflys (assuming they're still even there, haha).
Went to Walmart to look for Retro Headmasters and couldn’t even find a transformer section.
I hit 12 total on Thursday and Friday and found 2 things
Jack and Shit
I generally favor Target, but I do admit their self-imposed internal “release dates” get a little annoying. I can understand a retailer wanting to hold stuff back for resets, but in my county (where Targets are mostly cooperative) managers from different stores aren’t always consistent and even when they impose a street date for a reset on “release date”, at times the new plan/product isn’t even out.
Thankfully some folks here were able to score (like the homies @alkamist and @ahchu ), but the inconsistency is wack. Granted, I may not completely understand it from the store’s end. I do remember from when I worked retail that there were always dumb customers that have idiotic expectations. But if I could see a point for these release dates, they’d be easier to accept.
I need Kup. Have you found him?
haha you’re dedicated for driving to that many stores. The Walmart app and workers are no help
