I feel you, I too am a hunter, my currnt target is Wave 3 Leader OP OP, I could order hI'm online for $64.99 plus shipping, $54.99 plus Shipping OR if I find it in real $49.99. I'm not too keep on these upcharges, oh and yes that's 64.99 for the hasbro one, some online retailers have him for 54.99 but I despise paying that much above retail.

Yeah... it’s really a tough decision now given the way the stores order and how distribution work... I think Hasbro is to blame for this debacle with all their repaints that nobody wanted to buy... sorry to hear your dilemma with the OP OP... paying more than retail just sucks... but... I hope you’ll be happy when you do eventually get it...

 

Alta Arden Target and Madison Target in Sacramento near I-80 have nothing new, although the Arden one has a PotP Grimlock and the Madison one has Rodimus Prime for anyone who might still be looking.

Yup. I was lightweight worried that mine was from KO PE hands. But it’s just that the holes are just a tad too small...

Also: with Cutthroats animal head popping off so easily, it’ll eventually “stretch” and his crest and jaw pieces will fall out.

 

You could probably flash boil the head to get it to return to shape. Mine hasn’t been a problem, but I’ve corrected similar issues on other figures in the past with this technique.

 

Target in south San Jose has the usual Wave 1 dregs; two PotP Starscream, two PotP Rodimus, a scattering of Studio Series and some Combiner Force stuff that has to be more than three years on the peg at this point...

Anyone have a Retail Street date for POTP Wave 3 Leader Op Op?

 

From what I know the actual street date for OP OP is July 1st but that could always change

 

Oh wow! The retail street dateam is July 1st for regular retail such as Target, Walmart etc?

 

Guys there is no "street date" for a regular retail release of a wave figure unless it's a store exclusive, which this is not. I believe he has already been found/sighted just not in our areas. In general the best guess it to go off of an e-tailer site like BBTS which has him "estimated to arrive July 2018" which normally means he will probably be found at retail a couple weeks before that, so any time now really. POTP has had very strange distribution though so it's hard to know.

 

This has always been giving me the headaches when I wanna hunt for particular figs I like. Whether it be TFs or Star Wars Black figs or ML, at least for ML and Star Wars Black, Gamestop is my reliable source for them (except other store exclusives). If I still dont see Studio Series Wave 2 in 3 weeks... Time to online hunt. Which honestly isn't my cup o tea coz I cant inspect my figs.


Aaaand my local store Mira Mesa hasnt gotten anything new yet, just recently restocked the 1st wave of PotP leaders and Legends

 

Rocklin Target has a PotP Grimlock, and Slash, and not much else.

 

Thanks, I dropped by yesterday and picked up Inferno. He had at least a couple more. Cape also had SS Deluxe Lockdown and Jazz for $22 apiece, which is pretty much retail + tax. Jazz looks great but is SO SO TINY; like, people say he's small in person but then when you see it you're like "woah hold on lemme get my monocle to get a closer look." I might get it as a deskbot if I can find one for cheap later, just because he does look fun. I still have my Human Alliance Jazz (one of the few movie bots I kept) so I'm good for now.

 

El Centro Walmart has SS Megatron, SS star scream and SS Brawl.

El Centro Target has SS blackout, SS Optimus Prime and SS grimlock.

I'm hoping to find SS Jazz and SS Lockdown somewhere in the Imperial Valley soon. Hope this helps!

 

Gotta agree about Jazz. He's like inbetween a deluxe and a legends class.

Also, Cape and Cowls is supposedly getting in Cindersaur and Outback later today.
