For those of you who saw AoE already - is the 3D worth it? Skip and see 2D?

 

I liked the 3D in IMAX to get the full experience. But if you are not a big fan of 3D, then 2D is more than enough probably.

 

I saw it last night in IMAX 3d. It was well worth it. I would say there were 2 different times where the 3d made it look NOTICELABLY cheesy and if you see it you will know what I mean. However on the whole it was totally worth 3d. And just to put it in perspective I RARELY go see 3d movies, i usually perfer to see the movie in 2d so I dont have glasses killing my nose.

 

Pleasant Hill TRU had one voyager Hound, no Galvatron as of 10:15AM. They also have a BOGO 50% off promotion going.

walnut creek target on north main st has 11 swerves as of now. no cosmos. i still need him.

 

Nothing new at East Dublin Target tho I did pick a AOE leader Grimlock finally since they price matched amazon. Dublin Ross had a couple Construct Bots but no sign of shockwave, dragstrip or smokescreen tho, surprisingly they did have the G1 themed 30th figurine 5 pack for $12. Picked up a AOE Voyager Hound and Galvatron to open with the BOGO sale - they still have 1 Galvatron left but it's in the regular TF section at the back of the store.

 

Any sightings of deaths head in store yet?

 

Nothing ground breaking for 3D Imax, but I still enjoyed it. Pretty awesome movie. Way better than the third, Imo.

 

Just a heads up, I'm sure you'll all be super nice about this, but kind request to post no spoilers about the movie (no one has, so I'm not pointing fingers or anything). I don't think I will get to see it for at least a week. Thanks in advance!

good to hear the movie is better. i love the first. the 2nd and 3rd i love for the action, but the story was lacking.

got birthday money today so I planned on spending a lot at TRU... But they haven't restocked anything. still waiting for the evolution 2 pack optimus prime. plan on seeing AOE next monday.

 

I would love to get the displays at my Target for my house. How did you manage to get it? Do they usually send them back to Hasbro afterwards or throw them away?

I saw a 30th anniversary five pack with the 3D puzzles at ross capitol and the neighboring Marshall's had Kre-O figure five pack, one of which was opened and stolen by an asshole.

 

Picked up the AoE voyager Galvatron and Hound today at the Huntington Beach Toys R Us and they were buy one get one half off which was nice
