Just out of curiosity, what do you actually like?

FOC Kickback was awesome. Generations legends Skrapnel looks great...

 

Kickback has an awesome robot mode, killer weapon but his insect mode is a mess. Skrapnel isnt terrible but hes not great, his weapon (reflector) is lame. I agree the fansproject trio are the best we have. Theres a kit on shapeways that includes g1 mandibles for shrapnel, g1 horn for bombshell and g1 weapons for the trio, im thinking about getting them and moving them to my masterpiece shelf

 

i would really only be happy with masterpiece insecticons. or at the very least classics insecticons that were at least as good as g1. g1 is the best we have right now. not into the frilly foc one, the plain legends class one, or the fp ninjas.

 

You'll get them eventually. Takara won't forget them.

 

Walmart Martinez is pretty lacking in AOE still. Pittsburg Walmart had a huge restock of AOE deluxes...wave 1. Shouldn't last too long at $10 each. They also did a rollback on those AOE 1 step changers to $8.

Nothing new at Target Walnut Creek this morning. They still have tons of Swerve and Cosmos shelf warming.

I called a local TRU to see if by any chance they had a MP Grimlock. (Have not owned the previous versions so this seemed perfect.) What was bizarre is that they said they don't carry it anymore, nor is it in their system. It just came out only 3 weeks right? Lol I completely understand that even MP reissues fly off the shelves, but that they are already discontinued sounds weird, especially considering TRU just put him up on ebay (sold out though).

Ack, maybe he's just saying it so that you won't call about MP Grimlock anymore. TRU employees get annoyed too like real people.

 

TRU employees have a job to do, which is help the customer. If they get annoyed by that they should find another place to work at.

 

He's either lying or is ignorant. I think MP Grimlocks will continue to trickle in for another month or so just like MP Soundwave. I remember when I got my second MP Soundwave, it had already been about two months since its release. I was really surprised to see it in the store, but there it was behind the counter. Just be patient and vigilante. And pay attention to the guys on these boards.
