All done and painted. Resculpted sectional torso that still transforms. Wires in dragon neck to help with articulation. Lots of ugly screw hoes filled in.

Um.... Any chance you have the measurements needed and cut points you could share with us? This is amazing and I'd like to try it myself but I've only got one of these guys to try it on
I don't believe he had a purple face in the show. Dan Khanna's art is one of the most clear and accurate depictions of the character aside from looking at the actual show and I used it along with show screens for reference. Aside from maybe the smallest hint of blue his face looks gunmetal with a black helmet, so that's how I painted it. The way the light is on his face in my pics makes it look brighter than it is in normal lighting. The color I used for his face is actually a metallic dark gray pretty close to the attached reference pics.
Wow, I never noticed that! I always thought he retained the purple face of his previous two forms. Good excuse to go back and watch the series again!
