In fairness what are they really taking shelf space from? I’m sure your Targets will still have plenty of room for the 20 or so SS86 Kup and Blurrs destined to gather dust for many months longer.

 

They will get their own spots on the shelves, and they flat out removed Buzzworthy deluxes from the planograms at stores between waves. So if the repacks that were in wave 1 sold, these will be fine. They aren't taking up space from any other figure.

 

How about Diaclone Bluestreak? Isn't he a BWBB release?

These releases are the laziest repaints ever.

Quick, switch the eye color and throw them in a new box.

 

Kup and Cliff actually have a number of changes to make them more show accurate, rather than toy accurate. Cliff especially. They confirmed thats the look they were going for on the Fan First Friday stream.

It did take a bit for me to warm up to Kup, but Cliff was instant buy for me.

 

You do realize they painted the windshield, included additional little details with paint like nicks and such, and I believe tweaked their coloring?

I just hope they tweak this slightly, so ur purchase feels inadequate. So Hasbro can sell it three times, I mean.  

I mean, anyone could just paint those windows themselves, no? Can we get a proper Goldbug release?   Scratch that. VW BB was a Walmart exclusive many missed: why not re-release that one?

Cliffjumper is an instant buy for me. I held off on buying him when he was warming the shelves 2 years ago but when the Netflix Bumblebee came out, I had to get him. It’s fun mold to transform even with the parts forming. I paid $30 on eBay for a used copy without the weapons but now he’s going for around $60. This will give people who were late to the game another chance at a toon accurate Cliffjumper.

Now if they can only get the Coneheads and Ironhide/ Prowl in this Buzzworthy line.

 

Well the engineering and designs are pretty much on the mark, so hasbro has to do something to keep you buying more versions of characters. For example, where is there left to go with Cliffjumper after this release being sunbow accurate and earthrise being toy accurate? Why would a g1 "generations" collector ever need to buy another Cliffjumper ever again?

 

I don't suppose we know the DPCI?
