That sucks! I was excited for this figure but now, I don't know. I will probably just buy the grimlock version but man, this stings.

 

Luckily it's not that noticeable (compared to others) and also it kind of works with the figure.

 

Man I hate open boxes....

Toy looks good though, will cop from Asia as soon as PO's start...

The quality of toys in 2022 is good, no doubt about that, but the pleasure of collecting and enjoying these figures in their packaging etc is completely gone... not gonna lie, I'm pretty depressed when I think about it. I really miss 2016ish when we had Takara exclusives, Hasbro exclusives, glorious boxes and big box sets....

 

I really gotta look over some of my wfc and legacy. I havent noticed any of this yellowing

 

Kingdom Dinobot is what happens when you stick him in the oven and he turns golden brown.

 

That's why you gotta watch your chicken cooking like a hawk. Need it to be medium at the least.

 

Huh! I didn't realized that more of Dinobot's tooling was nylon, but after feeling the texture on the forearms of mine, apparently so! I kind of assumed all of the gray on Kingdom BW Grimlock was all the same plastic, but it turns out some is ABS (paintable) and some is not. Neato.

I mean, also it sucks that it can yellow, but neat that I'm learning more about this toy, I guess.

 

I feel like for a company as big as Hasbro, this is kind of unacceptable. It was worst on Cyberverse Arcee, but they should be able to invest in either finding or inventing a pink plastic that doesn't yellow in normal air/light. I'm positive such a material exists, there's too many pink devices/items/shoes/cases/etc/etc out there for them not to be able to find something useable in a toy.

 

So many new toys coming....

So many I will absolutely pass on!

Pretty sure @Black Convoy calling this a deluxe on the front page is just a mistake. The post he linked to as a source calls it a voyager.

 

And even then, mostly because the yellowing isn't uniform. If the whole figure just shifted then like...whatever. But when it's bits and pieces that stand out it really sucks.

 

No wonder people were asking what size this is in the thread - I thought it was a weird question not knowing there was a front page error!

 

At the same time...you'd think common sense would dictate that of course it's a Voyager given we're all familiar with the mold through Kingdom Dinobot and Grimlock.

 

Well that's a real bummer. Was considering getting this and Toy Terrorsaur, but now...
