I'd bet if the Worlds Collide set was able to use the Volkswagon mold, people would have been all over that set even more than they were.

I actually wanted the Cliffjumper-bodied Bumblebee so that I could put a yellow-painted CJ head on it. My first Transformer back in ‘84 was a yellow Cliffjumper, and it’d be fun to have a modern version of it.

 

Ditto. Hasbro is making it easier to stop buying their stuff soon.

 

It’s a shame they aren’t doing the kind of multipacks they did for Titans Return with a figure from each class. Don’t really care for something like this if it’s all random deluxe stuff.

It's not up for order yet, least not in the states

 

For me it's kind of a two out of two in terms of the figures I want. I want the Scorp and Ransack. Goldbug is neat I suppose,(Though I don't care for the parts forming of that mold.) and Skywasp is sort of whatever...Although I kinda got the impression that he was almost meant to be a companion piece to Scorp, like if his bee drone became a full on character...Maybe that's just my own head canon for this.

 

Huh. I hadn't made that connection, but now that you mention it, I can see the idea there.

 

The original BotCon Sandstorm's on-package bio said his Cyberbee drone houses the spark of a deceased comrade.

Nothing was ever done with this in any fiction involving Sandstorm, so the identity of the Cyberbee's spark is left entirely to your imagination.

I think I love your idea of Skywasp being the unknown soldier.

With prices up on EVERYTHING, sets like these really hurt. You've got to choose between this and a Commander or Leader fig...

Although not officially termed as such because Bumblebee=Name Recognition, it appeared to be a homage to Bumper. Making it a Volkswagen like Bumblebee would have ruined the homage.

 

Goldbug is neat.
But the whole set, current costs ... I'll have to pass.

 

Those who missed the Netflix Bee mold now gets a second chance , but for $80+...ouch.
Hasbro must be in a hurry, they just crammed the whole wave in 1 box.

I think you USians who are bewildered by the Speed of UK Premium Postage haven't conceptually grasped how tiny a set of islands the 67.2 million of us are crammed onto, just 93,628 square miles as opposed to the USA's 3,796,742!
