I bought the TF1 Prime 3x (Hasbro original, Hasbro premium, Takara super-premium), so I absolutely will be getting this bad boy. This figure is absolutely awesome. Like everyone else, I can't see why Hasbro didn't include the gun w/ the first release, but I do understand how they want to sell more toys and that can be done best w/ re-releases and add-ons. I love the new face, the gun, and of course finally, the accurate paint-apps. This is Masterpiece caliber if everything stays the same for the mass-produced version and well worth the $100 they are inevitably going to charge. Anyway, Buster Prime is amazing and is an insta-bought once the pre-orders are announced. I do love me some CHROME!!!!
i knew it i knew that they would make a prime with a gun so i didnt buy the original but im sure as hell buying this to go with jetfire!!!!!
they should use that for how EVERY movie toy should look when it's released. absolutely gorgeous paint job, not a fan of the head, but everything else is awesome
No premiums!? are you frekn kiddn me! I took back my leader optimus to get megatron so I could wait on a premium optimus to come out, only to find out that there are no premiums!? That fukn sucks! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The paint apps look amazing. Like others, I would've preferred the head to have a face plate.. but not a deal killer. This is shaping up to be the definitive Movie Prime figure.
How about the Red and Blue plastic on this one? It doesn't look all faded like what's out now, huh? And his megaswords of death are painted too!
OKAY. I get it already. There'll be premiums and I was naive to think there wouldn't be. Sheesh. I only bought two premiums last time, and not so many figures so far from the new line. Maybe there'll be a reward at the end. I'd like a shiny version of Ravage, actually.
I like the new gun, and the face sculpt doesn't bother me, but I honestly prefer Hasbro's coloring on their Leader Prime. There's just something about all the shiny silver paint and the chrome on this figure that looks cheap and horrible to me. I prefer the gray platic that Hasbro used, tbch.
I'm going to laugh at all you suckers who buy this version when for TF3 Takara release a Prime that shoots BBs. . . In asian, don't you repeat something twice to mean that it's 4x as good so that would make it the Takara Premium-Premium version. . . Ack. Are the blades shorter or is it just the paint aps? ---- BTW, Takara is also the company that retooled Jungle Ironhide
