    It's amazing how much paint apps can change the appearance of a figure. I Never had any desire to buy ROTF Jetfire, Hasbro's Jetfire lookd blocky, simplistic, and ugly. The robot bits under the jet REALLY stood out too. But this version of Jetfire actually look really good. That along with coming with a face masked Buster Optimus, makes this a very tempting 2 pack to pick up. It's sooo expensive though!!!

    Whoa...US Jetfire is decent but the TakaraTomy one is EXCELLENT! Especially robot mode.

    Wasn't there a picture floating around before where it showed Jetfire's legs can split to add more bulk to Optimus?

    How is the Jetfire's right knee for all of you that have him? Mine was much looser than the left and it couldn't really support the weight of the figure. Did I just get a sloppy QC one or is it consistent with the toy?

    Any idea if this is coming stateside? I'm so very close to pulling the trigger on this (since I have neither mold, period) but if it can be had for $70 on a US release I'll hold off.

    ^Sorry, but no news of it being stateside yet. You may want to wait until toy fair though, they usually show items of everything to soon be sold.

    Not unless they did a retool on this Jetfire. The original release Jetfire doesn't have legs that split. Well, I guess the ankle area kinda "splits", I'd say it "extends" though... is that the part you're referring to?

    It is a great set. The darker colors on Jetfire look really good. Prime is really nice too, although I do prefer the white pin striping on the single release Prime.

    Shit! i couldn't believe i just passed up on the only set i could find in KL. Dammit. They also had like 5 buster primes there. as well
