I think a busformer would be cool, just for the "all Transformers don't have to be sweet cars and jets" factor. Hell, I'm still itching for a toy of garbage truck dude from DOTM.
Not an "official" one, but there was this: Busby - Transformers Wiki Bendy-Bus Prime - Transformers Wiki As well as these: Robobuz Toy Model Pre-Order Site Cybertron.CA - Canadian Transformers News and Discussion - View Single Post - Post in this thread for help to identify a Transformers toy
Astrotrain is the best I can think of since I doubt Bay will ever use an actual train as a Transformer.
Agreed. That's why I loved the RotF Scouts so much. A boat, delivery van, FORKLIFT, microscope, WWI fighter, toaster... it's like the designers were told "hey. Go nuts on the Scout line." ... and then the Scout line got cancelled for the next movie line. Where 80% of the figures are a car or truck (usually gray or beige) with a block sticking off the side. Sigh.
Agreed 100%! Garbage trucks, school buses (thats right, the American yellow classics) and Farm Equipment. No, I'm not a farmer, but being born and raised in PA Ive often wondered where the farm equipment TF's are???
Whatever happened to that "Robobus" or whatever the heck it was called? Does anyone recall what I'm talking about? EDIT: Here it is, Aernaroth posted it earlier http://www.robobuz.de/preorder.php But the question remains: what became of it?
They'd never do it because it's not sporty enough. Ratchet? A normal ambulance? Nah, make him a souped up Hummer!
I agree, it would be great to see more different alt modes over the usual cars and planes. A bus would be interesting, I'd like to see a double decker bus.
A bus mode would be a nice way to work a large robot into the cast. Plus just about all the buses are splashed with advertising so they could do product placement in the film while having it look like something you'd see in almost any city.
