And they say a lot of things. Remember how the writers themselves didn't even have a concrete reason for why Bumblebee got his voice back, or why the allspark didn't regenerate his legs? I'm sorry, but I'm not really going to trust a producer on this one.
That was an upgrade that came when he pulled the sword out of the knightship. He used it 1 or 2 other times in the movie as well.
Well, I think he did sound like a young man. You know young people can have deep voices, too right? And besides, Retcons up the wazoo in that AOE and TLK. I wouldn't trust it. Bumblebee suddenly acted even more childish in AOE just to support that claim. Yes, this is true. Didn't it change his forearm armor slightly as well? They were obviously going to give him another major upgrade at the point (silver Optimus?) but scrapped it. The final result is less than clear, but not quite the error people thought it was.
I feel like Bumblebee's around 19-20. Not a literal child, but definitely very young, whereas Prime and Megatron and the lot could be likened fo fifty-something year-olds. With Sentinel being the equiv of say, early seventies. Jetfire eighty-something. N the Fallen as some crazy 300 year old egyptian dracula motherfucker.
Uhm...only thing I disagree with is Bee is probably a little bit older at least that's what the latest movie suggests. While being physically young he is actually mature so I'd guess somewhere between 25-30. That's what he sounds like to me. Speaking of his voice I dreamed I was watching an extended cut of TLK which included a scene of Bumblebee saying: "What the fuck was that!?"
And that movies doesn't make that care enough. OP should have been surprised that he could do that or people should have asked him about it.
Originally he was gonna upgrade into a 'silver knight' or whatever in that scene. That would have made it abundantly clear that he had a serious update. But that was dropped and all we got was his new forearms, sword, and rocket boots. The flying probably wouldn't have needed to be explained if he had done the whole silver makeover thing.
I'd like to bring this to your attention! It's most likely false info but...actually no I want to ask if any of you know anything about it. Now what I'm talking about is of course Bumblebee's voice. While watching a video about comparison of his voice from 2007 and 2017 I came across a comment that's quite intriguing and got my attention. The guy...or girl claims the voice Bumblebee had in the first movie was actually his radio and the quote itself (doesn't mention which one exactly) is from the movie Ancient Guardian (1976). To me it makes no sense since it is clearly Mark Ryan voicing him and back in 07 nobody could've known for sure that it time there will be a need for change of that voice but anyways...has any of you heard this yet?
Well he doesn't sound bad but still they could've had him reread those lines and put some emotion into it!
I'm not saying it was a bad Idea to cast him but I agree with he should of put more emotion into Bee's voice.
