If bumblebee is getting his own movie next year, I believe it would be beneficial for him to officially get his voice back. Having a voice would help us have a deeper connection with bumblebee, and start to see him as more of an action hero and less of a scout. I think in the last knight there's going to be a moment towards the end where it appears bumblebee is actually dead, but at the last second comes back and saves the day, with his original voice (similar to tf prime). I think the audience is ready to say goodbye to old bumblebee after last night
If it does it will be in a flashback scene. But I'm not so sure that will even happen. They are also doing a full animated movie that will go back and show everything that happened during the war that led up to the movies. If anything, that's where it will be shown how he lost his voice.
Wrong, the solo movie will be about how he learns to speak again after all these years...A, B, C, D...
Bumblee is cool and all, but he has to speak by TF5. Ratchet nor Que did anything to help Bee out. This is not Star Wars, he's more complicated and intelligent than R2D2. No wonder Optimus gets angry.
If he does get a voice I hope its Johnny Yung Bosch. Its weird considering that every film thus far has used a different method of delivering Bumblebees lines despite the lack of a voice. TF1 it was all radio speak, its interesting that by the end of TF1 it seemed like they had abandoned the garble talk only to bring it back in TF2. In RotF he seemed more musical. I dont recall DotM BB much. But in AoE he seemed to talk in normal phrases but with different voices. **I think you could maybe make both camps happy and have his voice "glitch out" at times and come out garbled. Such as: BB: I'm not sure Optimus... I think we could really use **A HOME RUNNN!** ... I mean victory right about now. And he could turn on the glitch for dramatic effect.
I doubt the Bee movie is a prequel. If it is, it will have to be Earth based leading up to when Bee met Sam. They won't do a full live action Bee movie as a prequel that isn't on Earth because the cost would be too high with it then having to be all CGI and no human interaction. The only way they could do a live action Bee movie as a prequel would be if they did a "Ghosts of Yesterday" type prequel showing the first Bots and Cons coming to Earth and the Sector Seven interaction. Still using real humans in space.
That's exactly what I expected out of the Bumblebee movie. Though, we'll definitively know if it's a prequel or not once they start filming.

I mean, how long could it take for them to notice how many fans want Will Frielde to be Bumblebee's voice actor and respond or is it like M.Bay don't give a shit and is BFF with Mark Ryan? Mark sounds friendly, I can't deny that, but he sounds way too hilarious most of the time (as Bumblebee). Bumblebee needs to be friendly and yet serious when it matters.
I...think Mark is serious too, but his voice matches 40-50 years old male, not a youngling. Bay said once that he would take advices from fans but I'm not sure if he'd even give Bee a voice or he would choose Will because Bee-fans love his voice.
The description of the movie is something like "The never before heard story.." Why would they say that if it's just a sequel?
Well, he might be serious, but that's not how I would describe his "Bumblebee" incarnation, he sounds way too ridiculous in a weird way. In ROTF the game, that voice is just way too much forced that it does sound like a happy grandpa, you know what I mean. Other characters' voices have been changed too in the past, even Barricade will most likely have a different voice than he did in DOTM, nobody except hard core fans will notice the change, I mean most of them don't even remember that Bee spoke at the end of the first movie!
