Cute commercial, but it's weird seeing this Bumblebee act like the destructively reckless Bay version. (not that BB didn't cause a lot of damage, but it wasn't really on purpose)

Just seen this on the telly.

Wondered if it had been reported here yet.

Damn, just beaten to this! Yeah it’s available on their website too, they actually have Robocop & Donatello from the TMNT in other adverts as well (I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Turtles one!)

That was actually pretty great. I'm growing fond of his "spitting out shitty music" thing the more I see of it ;)

Bizarre that an insurance commercial has better, more clearly-shown transformations than the last two Bay directed movies.

The transformation was pulled straight from the Bumblebee movie, its not new CGI

I'm just happy to see VW Bumblebee again, as I much prefer that look over his Camaro one.

... Combined with a (slightly) less egotistical director/production environment (if not individuals), I'd be willing to bet most fx houses would trade in their film work for commercials if they had the chance. Less hassle and better pay at this kind of level...

I remember 15 (?) years ago when The Mill took that route...seemed shocking... Don't think they've looked back...

Not sure anythings changed in movies since Rhythm and Hues for cg houses ... which is a shame... For all of it's empire making and past faults it does make you wonder whether something like the new conglomerates like Disney may eventually wrestle power and control into the hands of production staffers rather than shadey investment groups when it come to movie making.

Ramble over... I hate Directline - insurance industry as a whole needs better regulation - absolutely no surprise they've got some spare cash... But... nice to see some of it is going into something fun :)

Fun and cute commercial! I loved that it actually had several transformations in a short span.

This is really cool. So much in such a short advert. Already better than TLK lol.

I haven't seen this on TV yet but I'll keep an eye out for it now. It's actually quite fun and well done. Usually adverts that use the diversionary "Hey, remember this thing you like?" tactic annoy me but this one gets a thumbs up from me.

It seems like it's come out about 18 months too late though? Like it's the type of advert you'd expect to see around the time the movie was released.

It’s not being done to promote the movie, rather using the nostalgia of a beloved hero to promote their brand.

i know it would still be expensive but i feel like hasbro could pull off a mini series based off the films with reusing models like this, and once again i'll clarify that i know that actually animating the models in motion is pretty expensive
