A good frame of Shatter's battlemask on Cybertron during Shockwave's "Destroy the launch pad" line would be great.

Any frames that show Shatter, Dropkick, and Starscream's jet/helicopter mode color schemes would be really helpful for anyone who wants to paint the toys accurately too.

EDIT: A pic of Conan too, maybe? That poochy was adorable.

In terms of the proportions, that's pretty much also true for all of the Bayverse designs. Like for example, if you take a look at a still Barricade's render, he looks weird as hell, but in motion, he looks fine. The same thing is happening with these Cybertron designs—they simply look better in motion.

I do agree it looks like there was more time put into other characters like Bee and Prime, but I believe that's due to the late addition of the Cybertron scene. They should look much more polished in the next film when they receive full attention from the start.

Personally they look like toys. Or knock offs.
If they ever appear again they better undergo a MAJOR re-design.

I don't agree. None of them look like they were made in frankenstein's lab using other design parts. Some look wacky like Barricade, but still uniform. Here's a little redesign for example.

Wanted see more detail done of Optimus, So I buffed it up where he can be visibly shown, Noticed how Prime's headlights are on his shoulders, Never seen that done before, Quite an interesting take.

I don't see any headlights on Prime's shoulders. Maybe when I pick up the Blu-Ray I'll be able to see it clearly.

So having looked at the Autobot generics, most of them are Ironhide/Ratchet reuses with a few Minibots. Also what appears to be a cybertronian vehicle of 'Bee's Jeep body but it isn't Hound.

EDIT: Nope just a green Ironhide/Ratchet

They got away with a lot of the G1 bots looking simple on the Cybertron scenes because you’re brain doesn’t see it as photo realistic anyway so you don’t notice the flaws as much. In sequels as these bots come to Earth they’ll need a lot more complexity for those scenes, Prime is a good example of the level of detail they need for live action scenes. So stuff like Shockwaves thighs, and Soundwaves chest will need to be broken up and have less flat pieces in my opinion.

Not that I’m dissing the Cybertron scenes, if they were a late edition they did really well with the time they had. And the designs are a good start to base this new universe off.

That clear shot of Brawn is where I thought I saw the 'Hound' Generic.

Ah, I see what you mean. They were definitely designed in a time constraint—hence the use of other bot parts. I still dig the general look of these guys but yes, they'll need tweaking once they get to Earth and all of those Earth vehicle parts they'll aquire should aid in that.

Yeah, I think that's the case. To an extent, this also happened in the Bay movies. It's why someone like Optimus looks very refined and detailed, but the Protoforms looks super ugly and generic...they were only made to be seen for a matter of seconds in dim lighting. Same case here, essentially. If these character appear in a future movie, I'd strongly guess the designs will be refined.

Personally, I much prefer these robots to something like the Protoforms, or some of the other generics from those movies.
