To compare Yolopark's Optimus Prime will cost me 160 euros but will come with free shipping.
Optimus prime comes with 200 times as many parts, weighs 20 times as much plus comes with metal parts. Maybe even LEDs, but I'm not sure because ever source keeps contradiction each other.
So yes the Yolopark is the better deal. They also have a much faster turnaround.
The Trumpeter kits are nice, but too expensive, they should be 15 plus shipping plus have better availability, they really dropped the ball.

Plus their Soundwave kit that's just now coming out isn't even based on the movie design, it's based on concept art. Concept art for a movie that came out in 2018. Sure the kit was announced in 2019, but that's not really an excuse because they got the licence for these after the movie came out.
I'm sure their large scale kits will be nice, but they're going to cost similarly to Yolopark's while being less accurate and smaller.

 

I think in Asia, where Trumpeter is based, they are that price.

 

Yeah I paid for that much for the VW Bee, but the socket on his feet were so tight I broke it whilst trying to slide the ball joint in.

I saw a store show off the B127 and Soundwave and the yellow on Bee is... not good.

 

Yeah that doesn't look great, and also I broke that same ball joint, a lot of people did  .

And I know it's been said a million times but how the hell did they get Soundwave's head so wrong?

 

Wait, how tall is that Arcee? I have one in my POL but BBTS has her listed as being about 5 inches tall but she seems legends size in these pics.

 

The TF Trumpeter figs seem to all be Legends scaled.

The image on the side of Bee's box shows the characters lined up and if it's accurate, Arcee will be as tall as Bee.

 

So 3 inches? 4?

 

Ive got a photo comparison from a little while ago.
About 4 inches. Since CC Bee is 3 inches, and Trumpeter Bee seems a little taller than that.

I'd love so much if Threezero brought movie characters to the MDLX line (mainly BBM characters, I'm not really into Bay characters being this small)

 

Being small and articulated worked out for Revoltech DOTM Prime. And I believe he's even smaller than MDLX Bee!
Edit: Nevermind. He's taller but still small, and his size doesn't diminish his accomplishments.

 

I know, I just don't like those movie characters in that scale. It feels wrong somehow. I prefer them in leader class scale for bigger
But BBM characters are kinda cute so this scale works for them
Edit: also, the sizes change drastically in the movies. Like, Bee is just 1/3 or 1/4 of Optimus height, imagine how stupidly small he'd be with a MDLX Optimus if they were gonna be in scale

I'm just annoyed that we still haven't seen hide nor hair of that larger scale Bumblebee with the more intricate engineering. I'm not sure why these things take years to materialize.

 

yeah now that we got most of the designs in studio series, i've kinda lost any interest in a lot of the models except that larger bee

 

These just aren't very good compared to Yolopark or Takara Tomy.

 

They're great because they're a good size and not too expensive. Yolopark charges far too much
