I like it. I never thought I'd enjoy a TF that doesn't transform but Blitzwing looks great.
He looks great! I honestly just want the whole line right now.
Good thing I'm patient!
Just want to give an FYI to people----the kit, built straight out of the box, will not look as nice as the recent pics. That is a kit that has been both 100% re-painted (grey paint, not grey plastic), and then weathered. 95% of the grey will be "raw shiny plastic". Only "small bits and accents" are pre-painted, the rest is "molded in color" like a Gundam kit.
I am definitely going to buy these as soon as a release date is given! They look so great!
There's definitely no shortage of paints apps, though, comparing the hobby show sample and these recent pics. The weathering will definitely be absent, but it looks like the majority of details will be represented with paint or like you said, colour separation. Even all of the red lines/stripes are present.
The real model will simply be "clean" but I'd say it's 95% accurate to the promo pics.
not a deal-breaker but i would've preferred his gauntlets blue and shoulds grey
I'd be surprised if we didn't get a proper Starscream redeco from this. One was even shown off a few months ago. Once Blitzwing comes out it's only minor retools needed to make the "tetra jet" robot mode from the opening scene.
I mean it's accurate to the movie so
Yah I just realized this is blitzwing, I remember those grey stars on the wings and thought it was Starscream.
TBF It's a pretty easy mistake to make.
Though that actually brings up a cool idea: if Starscream is released and he's a retool, you could likely swap parts between the two kits to make an Earth mode Starscream and Cybertronian Blitzwing.
New line of series - OK Series = Original Kit 01. Was said to have better details to resemble the CGI and is about 15cm tall
How much? Will this scale with Plamo?
Yo @SPLIT LIP
PLAMO Prime is 30cm so with this Bumblebee being 15cm, yup, it looks like they'll scale fine together. Bumblebee is technically a tad too small but it's negligible.
Possible for studio series or will it still be too small ?
Well snap, I just assumed this BB was dead. And going by that pic with the Optimus outline, this second size class may be going for accurate scale.
I find it frustrating that these announcements never come with an MSRP.
Damn, idk if it's just those pics, but this painting looks even better than the 3A if it's like the images
Also, it won't scale with the new Bumblebee, right? It'd be good if they actually made a scale accurate line. I hope after the new BB others will come
So according to this we'll still have bigger versions?
Reminds me of the old build a gundam figures I used to buy.
yeah i may buy that big bb, he's one of the only options that scales with 3A optimus' vehicle mode bits reasonably. i have transform element's right now but it's hindered by transforming.
Now there's reason to earn
