    Surprising.

But it’d be even cooler if we got model kits of the other Autobots.

    Just saying.

Okay, these look interesting. But if they turn out to be barely HG-quality Transformers kits with MG-level price tags (as seems to be usually the case), I'll be passing on them. The big Bumblebee kits, at least, do seem to have quite a bit of detail.

According to Capcomkai comments on his Instagram account, the brand is Trumpeter. They made cool military vehicles.

Do they articulate...? And if so is this company known to be able to produce good articulated models?

10 cm is under 4"... a little small for my preferences.

But I would like to see models of all the Cybertron cast... but bigger.

Interesting. These could be cool, although as always, I prefer that my transformers transform.

No excuse for having the inaccurate door-wings on a product coming out this late after the movie, though.

I think they'll come painted like the bumblebee displayed there. These are probably just prototypes

Same here. Id be up for more cool model kits like DMK but these are just way too small for my liking.

I hope these have at least basic articulation. I just want a good figure of these designs, especially Bumblebee, Shatter and Blitzwing.

Also hope they're not stupid expensive.

I hope the big Bumblebee is at least articulated, otherwise they picked a shitty pose to sculpt him in. :lol

No kidding, it's really honestly annoying.

Trumpeter? That's surprising. They do military planes/ships-----nothing at all like a Gundam kit etc. This is a totally new category for them.

I don't know if Trumpeter even knows what "articulate" means, in this context. They have fairly high-end molding and detail, but overall shape/proportions is definitely their weakpoint. "Every single rivet in the right spot, but the plane overall looks like a hunchback" is a fairly common issue. They are not up to what Tamiya or Academy (or even Revell) pump out lately.

Trumpeter? Yeah...no. I doubt these will be even anywhere near Bandai or Kotobukiya when it comes to mecha plamo.

Such an odd choice. I'm surprised Takara To my isn't doing these. They did the last bunch of Bayformers kits.

Military model kits are more for diorama than action figures. But as model kits, this line would be pretty pointless (i.e. not profitable) if not articulated. Most people would go for companies like 3A and Prime 1 Studio statues. But seeing this line Trumpeter's first foray into robot sculpt, I'm not hopeful the line can match Bandai HG level. Still, if the price is competitive, I'd buy these and drop the Hasbro Deluxes/Voyagers to complete the collection (as Bumblebee & Shatter transformations are bad, Blitzwing is MIA).

I really wish Takara and Bandai would put aside their rivalry and get together to create a line of Transformers model kits. We'd have ended up with relatively cheap, really good quality kits. (Just take a look at the Bandai Star Wars line).

I guess after years of building models I tend to be critical of the Transformers model kits so far. They may be nice, but they are way overpriced for what they are (imo).
