One thing to note about canonical inaccuracies as noted by Kevin Liu , visible head syndrome isn’t there on the mpm . 

 

I hate how we seem to always get early reviews for things that haven\'t even hit stores shelves yet. I\'m definatiy picking this up though. Course I\'m sure some 3rd party company will do one that looks even better then this but this one will suffice me until then.

 

Haha, OS version of the SS. I don't think so, in like, any way. They both do an okay job, but the MP version is just better in every aspect. Except maybe color consistency. Anyways, this looks really great. Looking forward to him.

Looking forward to picking this version of bee up. Rather clever transformation scheme. Nice paint. Will definitely look good in my mpm collection

I feel like maybe they jumped the gun on making a MP figure of this variation this soon.

You can tell by all the promo images and toys that the character design was not yet fully finalized when Hasbro went into production, which can be forgiven when it comes to the main line merch, but when you start getting into the high end expensive stuff, they should of held off till maybe after the movie. Wait and see if this movie even does well, then produce the MP figure.

Though admittedly, I'm not certain how well they could have pulled off a real physical transformation of the actual on screen model, but then again...Give the third party some time, I'm sure those guys that did that screen accurate movie Lockdown figure could probably do it.

 

Um, I'm not sure on this, I need me a ss deluxe Beetle Bee first. Maybe even need to wait till 12/21 to appreciate more.

 

Now waiting for Wei Jiang to make the doors disappear in robot mode.

 

Masterpiece figures should NEVER have painted on head or tail lights and blue fucking windows.

I am curious about the wings. I think the figure looks good, and so does the SS version, but since they both have wings, it makes me feel like either they were there in early concepts, or they do actually show up in the movie at certain points for fights or whatever.

 

Looks great, especially love the G1 Seeker style chest missiles. Not going to comment on accuracy until after I see the actual movie. That said:

Saw the video, this looks mostly very good. The legs are excellent, they really captured the look of the new design very well. The toy also packs a lot in so that's appreciated.
The arms and torso are good but the backpack is a bit of a mess. I'm not even talking about the folded up roof, that's standard. It's the quite kibbily arrangement of the wings and sub wings, I get what they were going for but it doesn't come across clearly which isn't helped by the folded up wheel arches behind the main wings.
Overall very good though, pretty likely to get this.

 

This looks pretty good. Not sure what I'd do with another Bumblebee though in an MPM display. If they made a second for TLK, it's such a far-off difference that he could just be a new Decepticon character.

But this is too much like Bumblebee as-is.

 

...Did they even try? I mean, door wings are to be expected but this looks pretty bad otherwise imo.

 

Didnt have much interest the first time looking at it. But after looking at it more, I want one.
