well over a year before release seems like a bigger gap than the previous films, but i could be wrong on that.

 

Seems like it’s a wrap for Griffin, but not necessarily the entirety of filming.

Remember the film was originally a summer release, but it was pushed back to winter because of the crowded summer next year. If this was still a summer release, it would be right on time.

 

They could have at least set it for fall. It's literally more than a year away and it might not even make big bucks anyway, regardless of steering clear of the summer schedule.

 

Will Paramount even survive until December, that is the question. They don't really have any heavy hitters until then and the company is hemorrhaging money.
