Greetings Gentlefolk, here is a small review of a small toy, Energon Igniters Speed Series Barricade from the upcoming Bumblebee Movie, cost £7 from the Entertainer here in Britland; thanks to my mate @mcluskyism for picking him up for me. Please pardon my poor phone photography! (Should this series be abbreviated EISSBM? Or BMEISS Barricade? Or just BM Legion Barricade, because that (more or less) is what he is? Also: TFTM, 2007 Movie, ROTF, DOTM, AOE, TLK....therefore BTM? BM? TFBB? BBTM? BBM? Beeflick '18? Transfans will work it out! ) In-package: Here we can read about the gimmick, or see a picture anyway: Motor-core sold separately, but I suppose you could get two and then have races. Front view. Barricade cuts a menacing figure! Much better than the AOE version IMHO, reminiscent of the 2007 Legend. His knees are permanently bent when in bot-mode, and can't straighten out further than this. He is articulated at the shoulders and hips with ball joints; his knees and ankles can only move forwards and backwards. His joints are nice and tight with the exception of the ankles, which are looser, but still function okay. Sometimes he falls over. He has his hollows, but it's not too bad. He turns into a police car and everything. Transformation is simple (as you'd expect) and straightforward. The car fits together nicely and rolls well. The gimmick (sold separately) attaches via 5mm post. I am quite certain this function is going to be misused amusingly, perhaps even horrifyingly.... Please excuse the blurriness of this zoom, I hope it conveys an impression of this bad machine. Comparison with his previous self from his future. Which one actually looks like the character? YOU DECIDE They BOTH turn into police cars! Lawks. In conclusion: a fun little toy of our favourite cold-circuited cop-car cad. I like him!
