Still not bad, and for every negative review thats hit, many positive ones have balanced it out. I'm going to positively bet on the score staying above 90%

 

I would however like to see the Metascore increase a bit.

He thinks that is a negative, but it's actually a plus as it shows this movie is mature enough to avoid those things.

 

I feel as if the good reviews do a much better job elaborating on the movie's flaws than the actual negative reviews.

 

Though I'm highly critical about the logic behind these negative reviews, can you post the link for that review? I feel like this is something that was taken out of context.

Yeah, but at least he ain't directing, which means none of the stuff he likes to stuff in (overly fanboying over the military, sexual humor, racist undertones) are present here.  

 

I've seen this racist criticism a lot recently, but I can't think of anything that was genuinely racist in the bay films. Perhaps I'm just not remembering.

 

Pretty good review spread, unusually consistent. Not a lot of disagreement on the flaws and strengths, the different results are mostly how much the flaws and strengths connect with the individual.
