I do not have a picture, but my local cinema has started to broadcast the first trailer of Bumblebee. :)

Not the second one? The first one was more like a teaser for me, but it has better Bumblebee & Charlie moment.

Nope, it was the first one. It had the rickroll with the tape at the end. :)

If Paramount didn't have a good deal of faith in The Bumblebee movie right now I don't think they would pump any money into reshoots. We already saw Paramount dump a Cloverfield movie on Netflix instead of attempting to fix the movie so it seems like Paramount doesn't have a problem with cutting dead weight to get back up on it's feet.

At this point it's really hard to say why on the reshoots because it could be more than one factor in play at once. Perhaps test screening revealed a flaw that needs to be fixed. Perhaps the editing caused a scene to look a bit off compared to the scene before and the scene after. Perhaps Paramount decided to shift gears and make Bumblebee a reboot.

Plus when a production is troubled we usually hear rumors about how the production is in trouble. We knew there were troubles with the Fantastic Four reboot long before it was released. We knew things had reached a point where Warner Brothers needed to replace their director on Justice League for a director with a totally different style. But so far I don't recall any stories about the production of Bumblebee being troubled.

But quality that’s based on only 2 choices of Fresh or Rotten and it’s an aggregate score that determines said quality. No thanks. Rotten Tomatoes is probably the worst place to determine if a movie is worth seeing. Also case in point. If 5 people see a movie. 2 hate it so much that they vote Rotten and the other 3 love it, but really don’t care to “review” (and I use the term very loosely) the movie, the aggregate score will be lower and would be inaccurate.

What are you trying to say here? That the sample size will always be that small? Because it's not. Yes, the whole RT is based on only two options, however, the numerous people who review it amount it a fairly good general consensus of a movie, especially if you look at the audience score. And obviously not every single person who sees a movie is going to review it. That's never the case for anything. Please, inform me if you think there's a better way of judging the quality film if one has not seen.

My expample is a microeconomic look. To show that an aggregate score can’t be as accurate as claimed.

There is a better way. SEE THE MOVIE!! You can’t pass judgement on a movie unless you see it yourself and only then do you have the right to formulate an opinion on it good or bad.

There’s no validity to the statement “this movie was terrible. I haven’t seen it, but Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 35% so it has to be bad.”
