    Amazon seems to me like a combination streaming service and rental/digital market place. Amazon Originals and certain (sometimes incomplete) tv shows and film series are free to watch but other may be rented or purchased.

    Amazon Prime is weird.

    While possibly true it’s a meaningless comparison to me because by the time Netflix launched in Australia, it was just the streaming service we now know.
