Not sure how old this is, but first time I saw it!
theres a robocop and turtles one too! Good fun.
Came out today I think. Love it!
Awesome and hilarious
Bumblebee stars in the new Direct Line advert
They’re still using that god-awful radio voice. Jesus wept.
That was pretty cool! Thanks!
Very cool yet the Robocop one was a better Robocop advert that at least respects the character.
It's been over a decade get over it!
Well.. yeah.. its a shame that todays audiences mostly associate Bee with having a radio clip voice... but they do. Its not the commercial makers fault. At least he's not a Camaro!
...Is that supposed to be a good thing?
Yes. It makes sense for a small approachable scout to turn into a car with equal stature than an aggressive muscle car.
Camaro's aren't that aggressive but okay...
More aggressive compared to a Beetle. It's a muscle car after all.
This and the Donatello commercials are great.
I hope they make more of them in that style.
Who are you to tell me what to get over? I’m sick of this radio voice and needed to endure it over a painful course of 10 years. Time for a change. Hoping they get his voice box fixed in this new reboot.
It's not like a muscle car isn't fit for a scout either though.
I suppose its mostly down to how people personally understand a character. I think Bee is ok as a muscle car in principle, and if they just wanted to go with “whats cool” surely they could just keep him as that AOE 67’ Camaro forever, its a beautiful mean looking beast... although a scout should probably be a vehicle that can turn corners.
But a lot of us (old and young... but probably mostly old ) like Bee as a bug, we’re happy he returned to that form for a movie, and are pleased that form is being continued and re normalized in popular culture, like being used in a commercial, for instance. (So lets have his old voice back too!)
My favourite Camaro is the DotM one, but the 67 is a close second, so I wouldn't mind seeing it used more.
I'm not sure how good old Beetles are when it comes to cornering, but older Camaros were not at all bad for their time. Newer ones even compete with supercars.
