    "No, no we can't- You were just gonna slip that in? You were just gonna put that in my movie? No. Absolutely not. I will not have CHARACTER development in a film with my name on it. That is not what The Bay stands for. You're gonna edit that shit out, and we're gonna fill the missing time with a slow zoom-in on Megan Fox's bare ass. Maybe slip in a scene talking about robot testicals, too."

    I remember hearing about this from my brother (he was far more active than me in Transformers at the time), but I never got to actually see it until now.

    It's so weird seeing these clips from RotF... At the time they felt so aggressively frenetic and Bay-esque, but now they feel like actual scenes from a real live movie :lol  Bay got so much worse after DotM... I haven't checked out Pain and Gain in a while but AoE, TLK and 13 Hours are practically unwatchable with how lazy the cinematography and editing feel. Some of those shots had to be hard to get but they have such a run and gun feel I can't believe a major studio like Paramount looked at those dailies and let them happen.

    Bay was never the best storyteller but he's seen a sharp decline in style and technical prowess over the last few years, and I NEVER thought that would happen. Transformers '07 is such a perfect little Spielberg tribute blown up to epic proportions!
