Ironhide and Ratchet are pretty much what I'd want new versions of them to look like. Just that little bit of visual interest from things like the road armour and front quarters on the chest, or Ratchet with the running lights along his chest and shoulders. Maybe with less "jaggedness" and a bit more details on the legs to tie it all together, but conceptually I really dig the ideas.
I liked the old thread’s designs, but these are also really good. Hot Rod, Ratchet, and Hound look great.
This is the best update to your Ironhide design yet! I especially like how the grille of the truck becomes the center of the chest, evoking the look of the G1 windscreen without simply replicating it. I wish there was a toy of this because if there was, it'd quickly become my default Ironhide. Ditto for Ratchet.
When you realized how many times prowl was snubbed from appearing it makes it feels like it'll happen eventually.
Nicely done on them all (especially Ironhide). I feel like a rumor stated the only reused parts will be his face, thighs, and hands/forearms of his BBM model. Which looking at Prime and Bee I can easily see that being the case.
