Lol I'm not really sure if this would be considered idw, mtmte or whatever but as much as I like the generations Roadbuster he's no were near as big and bulky as he was in the comics so I chose to build my own using the the beast hunters 2013 voyager optimus prime, the Roadbuster head is just a place holder at the moment. I cut off the middle st of wheels and shaved the windows off, still need to trim down the side windows and I'm going to build a chestplate for him. I also want to give him hands with some movement as well as a backpack and shoulder cannon. Im kinda toying with the idea of making the Trions cannon for him to lug around. I'd appreciate any input and does anyone have an idea for a good Roadbusterish head that will fit his body.

I made one using Classics Jetfire's helmet. It works pretty well with a little trimming and sculpting.

Leave the generations head on. I love how tiny it is compared to his body, really speaks to the character: small brain, big guns. It's a great look

Wow, good idea and looks great so far. Definitely looking forward to seeing where this goes. I too think that the Generations head looks pretty good. It may be a tiny bit small for that body, but not ridiculously so, and it makes him look much more physically imposing.

Shapeways.com has a great Roadbuster head. An extra Energon Shockblast arm would make a good bigass cannon to lug around. Dig it bud. Keep up the good work. RB should have been this big to begin with.

Bad aft! Add me to the "keep the head" group. Makes him look bigger for sure.

Yea I kinda wish they'd made both him and Cosmos bigger to better fit their comic book versions since they were based on the idw designs

Ok, found one of my foc bruticus heads and shaved it down a bit to see how it'd look it'll obviously need some modding if I use it but just wanted to see what you guys think compared to the smaller Roadbuster head as that seems a popular option

The Bruticus head looks much better. Add a few details and you'll have a winner.

I was sitting doing some brain storming last night and am considering maybe making a backpack that in alt mode becomes a bit of a hood of sorts to better match his idw self

Man, I'm in the same boat with you on wanting a bigger better Roadbuster. I'm coming up with some cool ideas, and some not so great ones. This is looking really good. I guess this was the leader sized Beast Hunter OP we got then? Man, I knew I should have picked that thing up to use as somebody. Keep up the good work.

Its actually the oversized legends class bh optimus, its a surprisingly decent mold with clickity clack joints replacing the ball and sockets of the legends class and size wise its between the voyager and leader class bh prime. the moment I saw this version of prime I planned to use him to make Roadbuster
