i believe that they are only Buffalo wings if they have Buffalo sauce. but I'm Canadian, what they hell do i know?
Well if you live close enough, you have the opportunity to come to Buffalo and taste them first hand. I know I've seen my share of Canadian cars in the mall parking lot.
Is Buffalo a city in the US? I was wondering how a winged Buffalo would look like, before I read the text
Thank you. That's exactly how I feel. Hey, you're from Buffalo too? Sweet. Going to have to disagree with you there. Pasquale's has the best wings. If you say Pasquale's doesn't count, then Mister Pizza.
As a ridiculous lover of Wings (I renamed Wednesday to Wingsday), I will respect the lesson taught to me today. That said, I really always called them Buffalo wings, even when they don't always have Buffalo Wing sauce and they call them Teriaki Wings, I still call them Buffalo wings. But now I have a history lesson to enhance my knowledge and love of all things Wings.
I'll just stick to calling them "chicken wings", since they are (a) the wings of (b) a chicken. "Chicken wings" fully describes what animal the food originated from and what part of the said animal the food product originated from.
Not really, no. But then again, is any topic really necessary? As steeped in superfluity as it was, at least it killed some time and gave some people something to do, if even for a moment.
That's okay. I don't live in Buffalo anymore. I moved away in 1999 and headed west to Chicago. Love it here but I do miss the Queen City. But being gone almost 10 years has been strange. It's the little things. There's a Target on Lawson and Transit now, a few blocks from my old house, the Dodge dealership on Walden is gone, the Transit mall was knocked down and now a Walmart and Home Depot are there. But the most important thing, the Aud is now gone! But some things are the same, La Nova is just like it was when I attended Canisius High, a quick shot down the street. They are still arguing about the Peace Bridge. During Bills games, everything is EMPTY. People still drive very carefully through Kenmore. And some things though changed, will always be the same. Dunn Tire Park will always be Pilot Field. The Ralph will always be Rich Stadium. And I still occasionally call HSBC either "The Marina" (Marine Midland Arena) or Crossroads. And it is nice they put the Aud Club stuff in there. I'm sorry, but was your post really necessary? Come on man, it's just fun. It's a internet forum about TRANSFORMERS which last I recall were children's playthings.
And from the first time I held a job as a deli fryer, I called them Wing Zings.........A history lesson, a fuzzy definition of whether or not a violin could be called a fiddle, and something about green peppers........ Wow. I love it here!
