Sorry to hear that, but that may explain some of his recent movies.
Likely this has been going on for awhile, and it's reached the point where he can't even fake it anymore.

    This saddens me.
    Been speculated and rumored.

    I'm keeping the avatar, tho.

Interesting I hadn't heard the rumors.

Yes I think he's been trying to get as much work in as possible as long as he could. Which is understandable.

All those shrooms he did with Demi probably fried his brain.

Though I feel he has stagnated over the years, he has been a kickass action star in some epic films (Die Hard 1-3, Armageddon, Sin City). Beyond that, he's been a great comedic actor (Moonlighting, Death Becomes Her), a decent dramatic actor too (The Sixth Sense, Moonrise Kingdom) and a decent voice actor (Over the Hedge).

I hope he can make a good enough recovery at his age.

I don't see how it could be. You must not have read the article, because the condition he has is horrific.

Bruce Willis is one of the greats. Just an incredible entertainer with some of my favorite movies of all time to his credit. It’s sad to see him bow out, but I hope he’s able to enjoy his retirement.

Guess the rumors that Red Letter Media was talking about were true, this is why he had an earpiece and had his lines read to him, and why he appeared in like 11 crappy B movie "Geezer Teasers" (where he appears for like 10 minutes and records all his scenes in a day, but gets put on the cover) last year alone. He needed his retirement fund.

This is so sad. I feel for him and especially his family.

Honestly, I’ve never been the biggest Willis fan, but I absolutely love Unbreakable — easily my fav Bruce Willis movie. That movie actually hits me on a emotional level, and I think it’s going to hit me a lot harder the next time I watch it.

Yeah, I was going to mention that the guys at Red Letter were ahead of the curve on this — first making fun of him for the “Geezer Teasers”, but then realizing that he’s probably doing all of these movies to make as much money for his family, before he can’t act any more.

Indeed, in the second video they mentioned that there are some rumors around, from a cast member on one of the latest movies he was in.
Sad indeed. I was never a big fan of the Die Hard movies, but I liked him in 5th Element and 12 Monkeys. He oddly, kinda dropped out of acting even before this direct-to-DVD marathon acting. Last movie I remember him being in that was actually somewhat competent was the Shyalaman trilogy-ending thing.

    @BB Shockwave
Seriously, 5th Element is an incredibly fun ride! It had all the potential of a franchise, but I’m glad it was a one and done movie. Trying to recreate that lightning in a bottle would’ve been like watching the Predator franchise spin its wheels for 3 decades. Another of my personal favs.

It’s funny, but I’ve only ever seen the first Die Hard from start to finish, and it still holds up & it’s easily one of my favorite action movies ever.

I know he’s known for his action movies, but Bruce has a lot of comedies to his credit as well. He really had a natural talent for comic timing, and it comes through in his non-comedies too.
