    Hey guys.
So I was recently commissioned to fix a G1 Megs that broke in half. The owner thought it was toast and it was only by chance that I saw her thread and offered advice.
She thought it was a little too advanced for her to try so she sent it my way.
I did a step by step tutorial on how to fix this specific problem.
Seeing as how it's a pretty common problem I figured I would share it with the masses.

Also, moderators, if this is in the wrong place, lemmie know I chcked out Tutorials but there was no option for posting.

Very nice. I used a small screw and nut on mine but it was difficult to install since I had to try to angle the screwdriver in from underneath. Ultimately it worked and I used a bit of super glue to keep the nut from backing off but your solution is definitely more elegant. Also, I wish that either of the parts Megatrons I acquired were in as good condition as that one - looks beautiful.

Really good info and walkthrough, Spoonman! My only recommendation would be to use Devcon Plastic Welder (two part adhesive), as I find superglues to be a bit brittle when it comes to the long run.

I know this is considered a dead thread, but I have got a hold of a g1 Megatron with the same issue of the broken torso from the body. I tried to open the link to see the tutorial but it isn't available. Can anyone help?
