Does anybody else think that they should take a broad strokes approach to ROTF? That way they can keep things like Megatron returning and loosing an eye but ditch things like Megatron having a master and not being the founder of the Decepticons as well as things that burden the universe such as the seven primes.

I don't recall DOTM or AOE mentioning The Fallen or the Dynasty of Primes.

I think The Fallen as Megatron's master isn't a bad idea......they just didn't do anything with it. They needed to make The Fallen a stronger character.

By "the movie" do you mean ROTF?

"Broad strokes" means to keep parts of a prior movie but decanonize other parts.
