As of recently, Breakdown has started wearing an eyepatch after what MECH did to him. So as a result, 2 questions have come to mind:

1) Should he keep the patch in the show or no? I initially wasn't wild about it, though its starting to grow on me. Then again, it makes me concerned that all future itterations of the character will end up wearing an eyepatch, and I'd like seeing him in the next series, kinda like how we have another Bulkhead. Though again, I think I'm startin to like it myself.

2) Do you want the toy to have the eyepatch as well? I doubt we'd get 2 versions of him, one with the patch, one without, and i feel its unlikely he'll come with a gimmick to hide it like Animated Prime's faceplate. So then we'd have to hope for one or the other. Im not sure myself, it all depends on whether or not it sticks around in the show for me.

EDIT:: Dangit, forgot the option of "We DEMAND that the toy be like Animated Voyager Prime, or the HA guys's visors"

 

I'd like to see more Breakdown's with an eyepatch, but I'm on the middle ground about this [New Breakdown with an eyepatch? Cool, without? Cool too].

On the toy, I really think they could make a toy that makes an eyepatch appear and disappear, now that would have been awesome.

 

If Breakdown is a Voyager I think they could work that gimmick in pretty well considering some Animated Voyagers had some sort of face gimmick; namely Prime and Shockwave. You could also throw RTS The Fallen in there.

 

Eyepatch, and a mechanical parrot in his shoulder. Hou, hou, hou...

 

I agree it should stay. Makes him look more badass and, most importantly, unique.

This very question hit me a week or so ago, I thought about "wait...what aboot ze toy?!" Well, if we're gonna be seeing 'em with the eyepatch from hereon in, I think the toy should have it, too. I wouldn't mind it, I know I'll be having him partner up with Cannonball, though.

 

**Breakdown is breakdown, but the eye patch gives him character, I say leave the patch on him.**

 

The eyepatch looks cool, till he turns his head to show how damn small his real eye is compared to it, then it just looks silly on him.

I don't like patches, and I never will. And plus I don't want to see a pirate transformer.

 

THIS! Like some kinda of slidey thing to swap between the two.

 

I voted 4, because it's easier to make a sticker patch than sculpt a whole new eye.

A gimmick to hide the patch away would be ideal.

 

The Fallen would have looked better or more like the Decepticon insignia without the Egyptian crown influence added to his head.

 

We need a choice for
"I don't like it in the show, but we need it on the toy for cartoon accuracy."

 

Keep the patch in the show, make it removable on the toy.

 

I love the eye patch. it really gives him character. in fact I love it so much, the toy should have a patch on each eye!
