Hilarious that just as people are complaining about the price of SoC GFG Evolution Toys announces their simplistic looking Fighbird will cost the same.

GFG looks like a bargain now.  

 

I mean that doesn't make GFG's price "better" so much as it demonstrates just how much of a rip-off Evolution Toys continues to be.

 

ET Fighbird is pretty small being at 18cm, the main Brave bots from the Gattai and SoC are around 26cm each

 

GFG is 7700yen more then TV GGG and that was eight years ago.
It's also got more complex engineering and more parts, from the Japanese perspective it isn't that much more expensive.
Of course in that eight years exchange rates have changed a lot but you can't blame Bandai for that.

 

Any updates on SoC King Exkaiser?

 

Considering that you can pre-order GRB Grand Dion from Diaclone Reboot for only $100 more shows me what a rip off Fighbird really kind of is.

 

Lets not forget their track record for making fragile figures that barely hold together

 

Evolution Toys: Not even when they're on sale!

 

I have their Gaigo. Bought it for cheap, like $25 shipped years ago. Yeah, it's pretty crap. LOL! Probably worth the $25 I paid but not much more.

Is it? They all blend together. I did a quick search for Evolution Toys and that one popped up and I said to myself "Yeah, I have that one. It's kinda shitty." LOL!

 

Yeh its CM's corps. Evolution toys hasnt done any Braves up till announcing Fighbird. But most toys released by them were sub par and they overcharge.

Their main redeeming (?) Quality is they will pick up stuff no one else wants to do. Usually a lot of kaijus from Mazinger.

 

I've heard that their Jeeg lineup is ok, but feel free to prove me wrong because I kind of want some and I need somebody to make me not want them.

 

My mate got the Dai X ET did and he had to send it back 3 times to get one that wasn't broken straight out of the box.

thats just a bonus item included with the march issue of hobby japan, it's just a one off. they include bonus items all the time, it's usually a model kit or figure type item though.
