It also has all the required ports for combination with Might Kaiser, so it's all but assured he's coming even though they haven't officially announced it
Tamashi Nation incoming once again, hopefully we get some updates on those Brave SoCs they announced a while back. Also, not brave but there's a teaser image for a SoC Gurren Lagann there so that could be cool also. 「TAMASHII NATION 2022」にて展示予定の「超合金魂」&「超合金」の新作がチラ見せ!? | 電撃ホビーウェブ
It's astounding how nobody at Evo toy can figure out that they should paint the sides of his abdomen blue so that his implied abdomen is more pronounced. Also, GOD that paint looks so sloppy, both in application and in finish.
It's possible this is just a prototype but... Sheesh, that doesn't look very good. It's a shame because Great Fighbird is one of my favourite Brave designs. I hope that some other company redoes him a few years from now.
So it'll arrive in a medium brown box..and I initially thought it would be shipped in a cheapo padded envelope lol
Man, really wish there was some communication to know when and how those Earth Liner parts were coming.
Well to the shock of nobody the Dragon Jet is hella chonk. Still want to see the final product though. Give us that Cho Kyodai Gattai!
Is this just a mock up or prototype? Coz it looks less detailed than the old (but still good) Takara MPB-Dragonkizer
Well the new SoC King Exkaiser isn't exactly loaded with detail either. It's fairly likely they're laying off superficial detailing for the sake of animation accuracy. That being said, considering there's no visible seam running down the middle, or any hinges on the wings to fold them up, it might be a mockup.
I like it better this way tbh. Stylised designs are cool and all, but I prefer that kind of thing on super articulated, non transforming figures like ccs toys or metal builds.
Agreed. I prefer SOC to stay true to anime accuracy. I’ll leave other 3rd party to do the stylised version - eg Pose+ GGG.
GaoFar is surprisingly well-proportioned. Even SoC GaiGar looked a bit off in proportions for the sake of GGG, but GaoFar looks great, as does GFG.
