Yeh I paid for mine too. It looks great as gransaurer at least but hoping the combined mode can look better once in hand.

Japanese video review for Gransaurer and King GoSaurer:

Lots of parts forming, as expected. Gransaurer himself looks excellent. But definitely not 100% on the full combined mode from what I've seen either. I think it's not just lanky, but the whole upper body looks too big for the waist and legs. Arms definitely sit too far out, and I think the Tricera head looks too big for the chest as well. Hopefully, it'll look better in hand.

But either way, I'm with the rest of you, just happy to have a great set of these guys regardless. At lest they look fantastic individually, and King Go Saurer looks decent enough.

Even if the combined mode is not the most accurate, at least this is a stepping stone to more combining robots possibly more Eldoran and Brave robots. In my opinion though, I'm glad at least each of the robots can transform and doesn't require whole sections to be built for the robot modes like some Mini-pla releases.

After having built and messed around with Gran saurer and combining him, he doesn't look as lanky in person for some reason. I think the main issue is just the arms and the cover pieces used on the thighs don't cover the entire leg, leaving a small portion of out of proportion go-saurer leg sticking out. Having him on my shelf though, he looks great and he is BIG.

Shot in the dark, but I'm still looking for that Yuuta figure if anyone decides to part with one.

So I got my Gransaurer. Very cool robot mode. Don't like how you add the balljoint to his feet for jet and Triceratops mode. Its fiddly and feels it might break when you pull him apart. King Gosaurer does kind of lookbetter in person like Guiding Light says. But the weak point seems to be Gosaurer's loose knees and shoulders. At least on mine.

Yeah, it's definitely more of a GGG "2.0". I dig it though.

I feel like the SOC does a solid enough job of doing a straight up “the show design but joints” so I’m really down for something with a bit more artistic liberty.

let’s hope this is a 2021 toy- gotta save up for it.

Same, except down for something more Figh-like or Genesic-ey. This and the AmaxSen got me sleepin'.

which super minipla goagaigar is the best one? I know the first one, the stickers can rip, but I'd just paint that instead.

Id say either the original or genesic are good. Gaofighgar is a bit meh in comparison. Imo ofc.

    Genesic is the best though.

Genesic set a really high bar for SMP that may never be reached again. The stickers are a problem on all of them, the issue is how many you have to apply. SMP uses much stickier glue than gunpla since it uses what could be described as "toy" spec instead of "model" spec, so once its on there's no repositioning it. With gunpla, you breathe on it wrong, it'll fly away to who knows where. But yeah, if I were to rank them it'd be Genesic>GGG>GFG.

    F for GFG.

On the sticker note, I didn't sticker my GGG at all and it looked fine so I think you can get away with minimal paint.
