Yes. At least we finally have a release date for Great Exkaiser. Of course, it's horribly overpriced but that's to be expected from Kotobukiya.
Yeah, I just can't get into model kits after buying Super Minipla GGG and Liveman. Someday, DX figures will become a thing for Brave again...
I get it, I’m mainly excited for the non powered up versions of these characters since they don’t really get figures (I’m eyeing that decker real bad). I genuinely would love some dx figures but my heart would be full if they did vintage styles of characters we didn’t get (tenryujin, the geists, gaofighgar, pliers, black might gaine etc). Heck if I had a shit ton of money that’d be all I would design.
Anyone here buy the frame arms girl Gaogaigar. I haven't built it yet and I'm not a huge fan of girl model kits but I am of Gaogaigar so I bought it.
Aw, the face sculpts for the two ladies didn't turn out that well. Anryu is a little bug-eyed, and they cheaped out by not giving Koryu a proper translucent visor. Now it looks like she's wearing a domino mask, which is just wrong. They also didn't bother with translucent plastic for the girls' chest plates, which doesn't look quite right, either.
To be fair, you probably won't notice quite as much in-hand because they'll be tiny. Macro photography highlights all the flaws as much as it captures the details.
I'm not gonna notice at all since i'm not buying them. My money is going towards the Brave merch that ISN't GaoGaiGar.
In all my years of model making, I have not seen this. I was building the Moderoid Raijin-oh, and the first problem I ran into was that the pre-made hip piece was assembled backwards. Now this usually wouldn't be a problem, just pop it open and reassemble it, but this one was completely sealed up with no way to fix it. Then I made my way to the last part of the build, the combined form head. The runner that held the back portion of the head was miscast so there is no back portion on the runner, and part of the front portion of the head is malformed. Currently there is no way to request replacement runners, and these model kits are $50. Here's hoping Bakuryu-oh isn't error filled.
