Oh. I mean at his size a perfect transformation is kinda impossible without magic.
I get that but its still pretty bad. Even the Ryus had some transformation. and part of them did get used in the combined form. Here its just a separate toy entirely Still gonna get it since it scales with the other SMP.
It was only dubbed at all because they had a deal with a TV network (maybe Cartoon Network?) to show it, but the deal fell through. That's why the second half didn't get dubbed.
The voice acting of the dub is good in my opinion. However, the sound mixing is bad (hard to hear voices sometimes against the background music), and they pronounce GaoGaiGar as "Gai Geiger"
Seems unlikely given it's been so many years and the costs involved.
I'm glad I can watch the shows at all thanks to fan subs.
finished watching Exkaiser last year and now up to about episode 10 of Fighbird.
It's an okay show, but the villains are rather lame and boring after the fun of Exkaiser.
Seems overkill to even have giant robots with tiny human sized enemies.
Sucks that they didn’t complete the dub. I would love to get the remaining DVD that was in English Dub (I have the first three volumes and volume 5, but I don’t have volume 4). And if there’s a DVD on the rest, even if just sub, I would still get it because GaoGaiGar got me into liking the brave series and I like the show in general.
I agree the voice acting is good, though, I didn’t always have a issue with sound mixing. I could have sworn that at least once, they did pronounce GaoGaiGar as “GAO Gai Gar”. Granted, it’s been a while since I watched the dub, but I don’t remember them always pronouncing like you said they pronunced it.
Ah, yeah, I mistyped. Sorry! I meant to write "Gao Geiger", like they put all the emphasis on the first syllable and then said "Ger" instead of "Gar" at the end of the name. If it were a secondary character I wouldn't care as much, but it's the robot that the show is named after, so it really bothered me at the time
I swear at some point I saw they had written it as "Gao Geiger" as well... either in the subtitles, or in early sales listings for it. But it's been so long now, I forget...
Thinking about it now, I do remember that the characters mispronouncing the “gar” as “ger”, @Might Gaine. I don’t remember if it was all of the time (I could have sworn it was pronounced correct by Gai at least when he says “GAO GAI GAR” at the end of each final fusion. Or almost sounded correct.), but I understand what you’re talking about. That was a little weird, but it still enjoyed the dubbed even with that.
Edit: I just rewatched parts of the dub of the first episode on YouTube. They were a little inconsistent on the dub with the name of the titular Mecha. Gai pronunced “GaoGaiGar” at the end of final fusion with the “gar” at the end, but the narration after it had the narrator say “GaoGaiGer”.
Goodsmiles Eldoran announcement is more plastic kits:

Nice. Wonder if it combines or not.
Just letting people know I’m offloading my Goryu from Might Gaine. I’ve been working to complete him, but after all and said and done I’m not in love and I would rather get some funds for some other items.

thanks. Hopefully this means they're going all the way to King Gosaurer.
The link is to a site that's only selling clothing and doesn't say anything about Dark Gosaurer
Click on it twice. Bandai Premium site is annoying like that.
I tried clicking twice and double clicking, I get taken to the same chose your language page.
Choose your language, then open the page again.
It’s weird I know but that’s how PBandai works for some reason.
I did all that and it still doesn't work. I'm sure pics and info will spread around the net sooner than later.
