As far as the Japanese auctions go, there are a few who were never issued in Korea, so Yahoo Japan is pretty much the only way to go for them.
The guys in question, by series, are:
Exkaiser, Dragon Kaiser, Dino Guyst, God Max
    Red Geist
    Thunder Dagwon, Dagbase

Some others are pretty scarce so you might have better luck on the Japanese auctions. Of course for vintage originals, Yahoo Japan Auctions are pretty much the only place to go.

Apologies for the double post, but I've done some snaps of another series. This one is one of Tomy's "not Brave, but in the same vein" shows - Zettai Muteki Raijin-oh!

The main plot of this series is that an evil Emperor has set his sights on the conquest of Earth, and dispatched one of his lieutenants to conquer the place using Jaku beasts, which are "spores" that trigger whenever someone says "trouble" around them. Eldoran, the guardian spirit of the Earth, counters this by creating Raijin-oh and enlisting an entire fourth grade class to operate him! (three of the kids pilot the robots, the rest act as support).
Along the way, there's a sidestory about the military trying to get their hands on Raijin-oh to use him for their own purposes. The general responsible for the operation, along with Eldoran himself, are recurrent characters in all three of the Eldoran series.

Hou-oh, Ken-oh, and Juu-oh, or Phoenix King, Sword King, and Beast King. Each have their own abilities individually, but together, they can perform the "Muteki Gattai" (Invincible Combination) and form Raijin-oh.

We've seen this guy already, so I'll pass over him fairly quickly. Bakaryu-oh is the trump card left by Eldoran. Anticipating that the enemy might eventually become too powerful for Raijin-oh, he left Bakaryu-oh beneath the school building itself. Bakaryu-oh has no pilot, instead the rest of the class operate him by remote.

The two in robot mode. Raijin-oh's main weapon is his sword, and he has a very neat finishing move involving throwing the shield behind his enemy where it paralyses them in an energy field, followed by him slicing them halfway in two, before they explode, sending the sword and shield flying into the air - and into Raijin-oh's waiting grasp. Bakaryu-oh, on the other hand, takes a more direct approach - that cannon is not just for show!

But sometimes the two cannot defeat an enemy, so they perform the Super Invincible Combination to form God Raijin-oh. He's the ultimate power for justice, in this series anyway.

Raijin-oh was the most popular of the three Eldoran series. Not only did he get three OVAs (first and third are a sequel to the main series, second is a "what if?" type story featuring a feudal Japanese era Raijin-oh). He's also appeared in the PS2 Brave game, though in that game you can't play as God Raijin-oh. He does show in a cutscene, though, if you use Raijin-oh to kill the final boss!

: Wow SF! That God Raijin-oh looks awesome. First time I really got a good look at him and Raijin-oh.
Still need to find a Raijin. Thanks for the pics & info.

For some reason, the guy I was getting my Braves from totally disappeared after he threw everything up for sale :confused

You had the same problem too? I sent him questions and he was very polite. Unfortunately, he never got back to me on the final shipping charges! :banghead:

You forgot to flip the wings down on DaGarn X   , he's called DaGarn "X" for a reason ya know :p . Also the chest is normally closed, he Dagarn only uses it for some special moves he used very few times in the anime.

Nice one, CM. Mic is one of my favourite Braves. There's just something so wonderfully unique about his design. Plus he once used Tower Bridge as a giant guitar.

Some more Eldoran now. The second series, Ganbaruger, home to the tallest combination in the whole Brave and Eldoran series.

The series is a lot more light hearted and kiddy than all the others. It revolves around three kids chosen by Eldoran to receive some pretty awesome sentai-esque powers and vehicles to fight a trio of nasty demons. Some of the enemies are really bizarre - the recurrent servant of the main villain is a mix of pieces brought together from a science lab (skelton for body, the drapes on the window as a cloak, etc). One of the monsters of the week was, believe it or not, a gigantic banana!

    Anyhow, onto the mecha.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v144/Sol_Fury/Brave/Eldoran/Ganbas.jpg

The three main mecha, Gou Tiger, Mach Eagle and King Elephan, piloted by Ganba Yellow, Blue and Red, respectively. Unlike many of the other hero mecha in Brave or Eldoran, they have their own individual transformations. Pretty cool.

Combined, they form Ganbaruger. Main weapon - Ganba Sword. He always kinda reminds me of Predaking, in so much that both are winged, lion chested robots.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v144/Sol_Fury/Brave/Eldoran/RivolGekiBeast.jpg

Gekiryuger and Rivolger appear later in the series, with Ganba Blue taking control of Gekiryuger and Ganba Red taking control of Rivolger. Gekiryuger is the patron saint of partformers, incidentally. To "transform" him, you take him apart and rearrange his parts! He's got about twenty or so parts in all, which at least means he gets an awesome pair of modes.
Rivolger, on the other hand, isn't such a partformer but still has a fair bit of part rearrangement between his different modes. He's also got an extra configuration - the Rivol Cannon!

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v144/Sol_Fury/Brave/Eldoran/Revolcannon.jpg

Rivol Cannon is a "final attack" type weapon, used to finish off the tougher monsters mid-series. Later still, though, they gain the ability to merge Gekiryuger, Rivolger and Ganbaruger into...

Great Ganbaruger! The only other robot who is so huge that when I photographed him the window sill was in shot. (Brave Maximus, of course, is the other one). He takes forever to combine, since all three robots disassemble then rebuild into the final combo. The arm cannon is an undocumented feature - neither mentioned in the instructions nor shown on TV, yet Gekiryuger's tail has some ports not used in any combination that happen to match exactly with those on the Great Ganbaruger forearms. Plus he looks good with a BFG to go with his massive sword (third largest melee weapon in my collection, second if you exclude Dagwon's Lian since he's actually a roleplay toy with a connector for the DX Dagwons)

Is J-Decker worth $65? I suddenly found myself wanting one yesterday with no explanation given by my brain for why this should be.

I have almost all the Yuusha figures, but I think I will have to let them go. Most are Korean boxed ones, a couple are Takara boxed ones, and some are loose and/or incomplete. Anybody who's interested can PM me with "korean boxed" offers. I'm not sure what to ask for all the figures, and it's less work for me to look it up once I get some offers for some of them, so please don't ask me what I want for each of them. I want a fair price but am looking to get rid of them, not to get rich.

It pains me, but they are just too damn big! Why aren't there WSTF Yuusha?

It was a Memorial Day sale. He probably took everything down because it is after Memorial Day. He better get some more stuff up.... It's almost my :bday ...

Anyway, I got my Shadow Dagwon today. It's a nice, solid, figure with all components that work nicely together. On top of the 2 KO Brave guys I have, this guy has me hooked. :thumb  :thumb

Awesome Soundblaster, glad you like the Dag Shadow.
Just saw a mib Guardtiger alone go for crazy cash.
Did'nt know the little tiger and wolf weer worth so much by themselves. Really loving these Korean deals.

Got some freebees from the dissapearing eBayer. He just crammed them in with my last order.

It's these 2 models , probably not worth much, but hey, more goodies for thread.

    *EDIT
Ok, just recieved an email from him and he said they were a thanks for
buying so many robots from him. Sounds like he's not coming back. :(
    He was a pure Geewuner

He did leave his sources though, for where he got his from.
May have to pay in Korean funds .

    *quote from seller*
"Both of them buy from http://www.toysee.net/ oldtoy gives free shipping. (they also get toys for http://www.oldtoy.com/.) prices on the web are about 1000 won to 1.00. the only problem is that oldtoy only ships in korea and must be a bank transfer in korean money. "

A bit on the pricey side, he's a good design (think he was designed by the gentleman responsible for the mecha in Patlabor), and he has a huge rifle. That said, the Fire J Decker set only set me back $100 before shipping, and that includes J Decker, Duke Fire and Gun Max.
Honestly, that one is worth shopping around on. J Decker is one of the most widely released series in Korea (most recently in 2004-5) so it should be possible to get one at a decent price.
Whatever you pay for him, though, he's a great robot. Fairly imposing in robot mode, and the SWAT van's transformation into his main body is very unique and different.

Cool! Please let us know what you think of God Raijin-oh, I've not seen all that much about the guy online. Passed on him myself, actually, since I had the vintage.

Yes Chaos, I'll let you know once I've it, now it "sleeps" in Rome custom office ;)

Anyway I've also the vintage one and I was just satisfacted with that version, but when I saw first photos of the final CM's one, I didnt resist :)  A friend of mine just has it and he said me that it's really heavy and definitely a really good Brave "masterpiece" ...let's hope he's right !
