News Post: Brand New Hasbro Transformers Initiative Discovered: Project Jam
Ok so weird thing. My mind instantly went to Spaceballs and now I'm wondering if we're getting Mega Maid.
Space Jam crossover figure?
Man, I love the Animated JP openings.
Oh shit, is this an extremely subtle way of hinting they're gonna get JAM Project to do all future Transformers series openings? Because that would be tight as hell.
whY mY ShoulDERs hUrt?!?
Can't believe no one has suggested Hot Shot yet
Is this finally the Death Row Records crossover we've all been waiting for? Just in time for sale of the Entertainment One Music.

Yeah that's my guess too.
Ooooh it's a $70 price tag. So this is either Leader Class or our first multipack. Interesting. I'm guessing stuff like X-Spanse has done well if they're willing to continue to push the size/price of these.
(It is the 25th Anniversary this year)
Commander Class HotShot it is then
EVERYBODY GET UP IT'S TIME TO SLAM NOW
WE GOT A REAL JAM GOIN' DOWN
WELCOME TO THE SPACE JAM
Maybe a music tie in like say Soundwave with a DJ booth lol
It’s got a 70 dollar price point.
So I’m guessing it’s a figure.
I liked the suggestion of Mega Maid/Spaceball One (added bonus since Spaceballs: The Comic Book in the movie is just an old issue of Transformers). But I don’t see it likely.
I do see it being a collaboration.
I’m going to say it’s my unlikely hope of turning old MASK vehicles into transformers, often with faces that match the old figure masks.
I am familiar with Jam Project as they do some really awesome opening themes to various Super Robot anime series. I was unaware they did the opening to TFA in Japan. That is awesome!. The Mazinkaiser opening is probably my favorite of all their songs.
Sounds totally tubular dude.
This being a music project makes a lot more sense.
You know a meme is prevalent in a fanbase when the first thought that comes to mind is Hot Shot and the possibility of an Armada inspired line.
Considering Rexy was "Project Park" I get the impression that we're being one level *too* clever. "Project Jam" being a Space Jam reference would be a great fit with the 25th Anniversary *and* a movie coming out later this year. The only question is what alt and what bot mode would you use.
If it's a music reference, it would be pretty cool to take someone like Netflix Soundwave and pair him with tapes that turn in to band members from whoever they're collaborating with.
Bonus Points if they include new tooling so he has a "Stage" mode.
Given that Space Jam is owned by Warner Bros. I'm curious to see how this pans out (if this even is Space Jam, which I sort of doubt). It could lead to further collaborations with Warner Bros. properties. However, I'm more inclined to believe this has something to do on the music front (possibly a convention exclusive of Soundwave with a record or something along those lines).
