I am of the opinion that even tho Zeta has pulled back on their version,doesn't mean its been cancelled.I am sure HasLab is just pushing a delay tactic so they can get their Unicron green lighted by getting the 8000 backers,after that HasLab may call a truce and let Zeta start their own.I figure that is what will happen.

Also sorry to hijack this thread but seeing as we're talking about Unicron I wanna suggest I hope WeiJiang will also throw in their version of him in the future,I would love to see what they come up with.

 

To be fair to @dragonflye18 I haven't bought anything from hasbro in a while. I am a haslab backer and I do buy takara MPs but my loyalty to hasbro lines dried up after Transformer Prime.

Boycotting hasbro doesn't take much effort for most people in the 3rd party game but don't take it out on haslab Unicron and its supporters.

I was in a similar situation with mattycollector and castle greyskull. It is in everybodies best interest for this figure to happen and with very few exceptions $600 will likely be the cheapest price anybody ever sees.

But if Unicron is your line in the sand, remember 3ps seem to go in trends. We've seen devastator trends, megatron trends, Optimus trends, back to combiner trends, if 3ps keep going we will probably see a Unicron trend in the next few years

 

I'm always down for a boycott. There will have to be a few exceptions, like backing the HasLab Unicron, and I still need to buy Siege Springer and Red Alert. Omega Supreme is sitting in my POL. Besides those, hell yeah, let's boycott the shit out of Hasbro.

 

Right after TF prime? Ouch man, you got out of the hasbro section during its lowest point. Should revisit one or two from siege or titans return (just to see what they are up to). Those were some good figures.

The very first response attempted civility. The conversation pretty much devolved right after. The original post itself is a knee-jerk response, which makes it easy bait that some people can't resist, especially since Zeta Unicron was put on ice and people are bored and frustrated.

So you get six pages of 4-Chan-styled posts, memes, and snarky/angry one-liners. A few people in this thread could stand to chill a bit.
