For those of you that open the package and display the figures, do you keep the boxes for later storage or for the art or do you just throw them away?

For higher resale price, it is better to keep the box.
To preserve our environment that we depend on for life, it is better to recycle the boxes.

I keep cardbacks but not the boxes...unless they're special items (City Commander Armor, etc) or look awesome (Masterpieces).

    I keep cardbacks

In regards to boxes, I keep the back and frontal art and throw the rest away.

I used to keep boxes but they seriously clog up space. In the trash they go.

If you like em keep em, if you don't don't.

It all depends on how much storage space you have.

I keep all the packaging and store it in boxes, all the twist ties, too, in case I ever need to repack them if I move out of my house (although I don't have stuff beyond the early movie, as that's when I started collecting again after Energon lost me.) I also have most of the instructions for all the figure's I've bought (even my Armada Hot Shot)

I think I'm at that point. I will keep my Henkei boxes though.

I used to keep boxes too, but they do take up way too much space. Now they go to the recycling bins, except for a few of the rarer pieces if decide to resell them later. Otherwise, bye bye.

Ya need a 3rd option, I only keep the boxes from my imports & exclusives but throw away most of the other packaging. I don't ever plan on selling any of them but if I ever get jammed up and need some money I figure it will add to the value.

Keep instructions, keep unique cardbacks (in Canada we often get the same cardback per wave), keep boxes but recycle all inside packing materials and only keep the folded flat boxes.

I don't actually know why I keep them - sentimental reasons? I never intend to sell my collection, and packing-material-less folded up boxes wouldn't exactly help sell them in any case...

Unless it's really nice packaging, I recycle them.

They're usually going in the trash when I buy a new TF. No space to try and hold onto them :D
