if you open your toys, what do you do with the packaging? Do you save them? Do you throw them out?

I personally try to save Masterpiece and 3rd Party packaging, but everything else gets dumped. Its getting to take up too much space, so I am debating throwing out all of them.

I discard the inserts but keep the box(voyager), cardback(deluxe), and instructions... Then store what I keep in a box.

I flatten most of them, then put them in a plastic storage box. Most of the figures I buy are loose, though (as I focus on Diaclones and G1s), so the question of what to do with the box doesn't present itself so very often.

Toss, and the ones I have been keeping (3P and MP) are slowing getting tossed as well. I don't miss them in the least. They serve zero purpose.

The only ones I keep are for huge guys, for moving/storage.

I keep most of my boxes either because they are nice boxes or becuase I know I am likely to sell them on at some point, but that is because most of my small collection are collectors pieces. I don't tent to bother keeping packaging for cheaper main line domestic releases as having the box has little influence on their second hand value.

Depends on the TF. If it's TR carded, I recycle. I only keep MP boxes. Larger bots such as TT Fort Max, I only keep outer box and instructions so I can store MP boxes within. 3P stuff I keep all, I'm not sure why though...

I keep the all the packaging and instructions for all my 3P and MP and I kept the boxes for gift sets like Devastator, Victorion and Computron though I don't know why since I tossed the packaging for Metroplex and Fort Max. And I'll throw out all the packaging for Leaders, Voyagers, Deluxes and Legends.

Boxes for expensive figures or ones with lots of accessories (I need a place to store all that stuff) usually stay in my home. For everything else, there's no real reason to keep anything aside from instructions and any possible comics included.

I used to keep some of my 3P and MP boxes but now I just throw away everything. It's a waste of space.

Toss it all! Instructions, boxes, plastic, etc. No sense keeping all the clutter when I know I won't be selling things down the line.

I have kept all my MP/3P boxes as well as all my Black Series boxes. Toss all my Marvel Legends boxes.
It's adding up though. I keep thinking if I end up selling anything it will make them more saleable.
But... MP stuff doesn't have as high of resale as it seemed like it would have with all the reissues and knockoffs. The market is flooded now. It may be time to just recycle them all

I keep MP and 3P MP boxes. Any mainline TF's, the boxes get tossed.

I do keep all my boxes for Hot Toys, Movie Realization, Mezco One:12, most Legend of Zelda. Those boxes are nice and collector friendly, and some may get sold years down the road and having the boxes will increase their desirability. The boxes take up storage space in the basement, but not that big of a deal for me as I have a huge basement now.

Kept, intact. Then got married and room became scarce. So I kept, but flattened. Amazing how quickly that frees up space!

I never even look at the instructions... I like figuring it out. Or if I get desperate, I'll check a youtube video. Mind you I haven't bought any of the reeeeal complicated transformers.

    Depends on the price.
Regular generations I throw away. I kept the box for Titans Return Fort Max.

    I always keep MP boxes.
