    I personally believe generics don't get enough credit, which correlates with my methodology of building body-types or frames for characters. Think like the Seeker body-types or the Animated models. This way, nuances can be added to these designs to create original generics.

    Feel free to suggest possible themes for designs and I will try and make them work

    With that out of the way...

    The Pursuit Unit

    The Pursuit Unit was designed with the function of high speed pursuits, being favored by law enforcement.

    In robot mode, the Unit features clip joint hands and carries it's Double Action Blaster, an automatic rifle that can convert to a stun baton. The wheels on it's shoulders act as boosters, allowing to make great leaps and bounds. The vehicle mode lights that are installed for law enforcement users are still accessable, allowing it to give itself a presence in either mode.     In speed car mode, the blaster is mounted on a 360° swivel platform. The Unit's speed is unmatched by many ground vehicles, allowing to pursue adversaries. Some owners of the body type who don't work with the law are known to hold drag racing contests on Velocitron.     Turret Unit

    The Turret Unit was designed as a fortified weapon with various beams.

    In robot mode, the Unit features clip joint hands and ankle joints. The Unit itself doesn't carry any weapons, but rather is the weapon in alt mode. Their large size makes them idea for taking down larger vehicles such as drop-ships. They tend to be tasked to defend forts or bases. IMG_20200603_134759388.jpg

    In turret mode, the Unit gains access to it's Modular Laser, which is capable of firing various beams. Favorites of the bodytype tend to be Immobilizer Beams, Thermal Beams or a Deceleration Cone. While they can work by themselves, they tend to be paired with another smaller Unit who assists in aiming.     Bridgelayer Unit

    The Bridgelayer Unit was designed to assist movement of soldiers, weapons and artillery in poor terrain.

    In robot mode, the unit features no weapons, but it does have a unique optic which allows it to scan the geography for they best location to lay down a bridge. The Unit itself is not suited for fighting and consequently has little armor or flexibility. They are often paired in teams of four to extend further if needed. The bridges are extendable and extremely durable, as the ends anchor into the ground. They can often withstand even the heaviest guns traveling above them. The vehicle is slow but capable of moving through poor terrain. Although uncommon, they are sometimes used by private industries for building structures such as standing bridges for commercial use.     Grenadier Unit

    The Grenadier Unit was designed to assist an heavy offensives with it's explosives.

    In robot mode, the Unit has two Explosive Launchers for hands, which can fire an array of projectiles such as high explosive, shrapnel, or thermal. Their unique feet allow them to bounce when falling, allowing them to "trampoline" grenades over barricades. This allows them to stay on the aggressive offensive to assist a forward campaign.     In mortar car mode, the Unit gains one, more powerful launcher in the center. It's wheel structure allows it to ride through small trenches without touching the ground. It's high speed and reflective armor make it a dangerous opponent.     Cube Unit

    The Cube Unit was primarily designed as an infiltration soldier with heavy concealed weapons.

    In robot mode, the Unit features clip joint hands which can be overridden with it's Twin Homing Launchers, allowing it to curve rockets around corners. Their slim body frame lets them to fit in smaller areas effortlessly, allowing them to convert to alt mode to eavesdrop or ambush. IMG_20200609_151858447.jpg IMG_20200609_151931829.jpg
    In cube mode, the Unit is capable of passing as nearly any similar shaped object using it's cloaking array. This allows it to pose as a storage crate, weapons array or even a section of a wall. Ambushing the enemy with an onslaught of rockets is an unexpected surprise indeed. Some use the body type to add new rules and variation to the Cybertronian game "Cube".     Minecart Unit

    The Minecart Unit was designed to transport material and assist Drill Units in mines.

    In robot mode, the Unit features posable fingers and it's Mineral Breaker, a powerful but unstable pile-driver. Their role often helps to remove large waste materials in mines since their weapon can break precious materials easy. This often necessitates Drill Units to be in the vicinity.     In cart mode, the Unit can carry material in it's rear. While it can drive on its own, it is slow and requires flat ground. Consequently, tracks are often built to allow for high speed transport.     Bomber Unit

    The Bomber Unit was designed to serve as the main force of carpet bombing runs.

    In robot mode, the Unit features posable fingers and, rather than a projectile weapon, is equiped with specially designed legs. A combination of shocks and springs create a set of legs that can compress and release to both rise the Unit into the air at high speed, or deliver punishing kicks to opponents. This helps the Unit take off in vehicle mode nearly anywhere to start a bombing run. The wings of the alt mode can be used as blades as well. IMG_20200617_125750597.jpg IMG_20200617_125841793.jpg
    In aircraft mode, the Unit gains access to it's unique High Speed Projectile Guns, which launch small surface bombs at rapid speeds. The wings can configure to both a flight and dive mode, with the latter being spread out. A squadron of these can easily decimate a ground base, but their large amount of bombs mounted makes them highly explosive if damaged greatly.     Siphon Unit

    The Siphon Unit was designed to preform a variety of roles revolving by using it's hose.

    In robot mode, the Unit features posable fingers and it's Universal Hose, an advanced system that can siphon a range of different things. These can be fluids, transmission data and even small objects. It's input is in a cone shape, meaning it can redirect oncoming small projectiles, spewing them back at the attacker.     In light jet mode, the Unit gains two Mini Cannons and can still use it's hose. Using it however makes the craft unstable in flight. It must be mentioned if the hose is blocked or sealed shut, it can greatly damage the Siphon Unit. It's weak armor and limited weapons makes it ideal as a spy.     Gadgeteer Unit

    The Gadgeteer Unit was designed to perform a variety of functions and serve as an aid to specialist Units due to it's arm mounted generator.

    In robot mode, the Unit features a posable hand and is equipped with it's Multi Tool Generator for it's other. This device can transfigure itself into various different objects. Examples shown are the standard claw, axe and bowgun. The Unit can generate nearly any similar sized weapons or tools to help it's designation. The generator however is very heavy and bulky, slowing down the Unit overall. It is also equiped with an Autocannon attached to it's back, as well as Gyro Wheeled Feet, which allow it to skate even up walls.     In car mode, the Unit's main flaw is revealed. Due to the unique apparatus for it's array of gadgets, the Unit's vehicle mode is designed to do little more than tote around its gear. Consequently, the vehicle has little armor and travels fairly slow. The Autocannon is still available but limited to airborne targets and the generator can form very few things when in this mode.     Anti Air Unit

    The Anti Air Unit was designed to serve as the primary ground to air retaliation force.

    In robot mode, the Unit uses the alt mode's Piercing Laser Beam weapons as hands. These can inflict serious damage to airborne targets, nearly ripping holes though wing frames. It's array of radar equipment allow it to precisely detect and ambush incoming aircraft. The lasers in robot mode gain a barbed outer shell, allowing them to be used as clubs in close combat. IMG_20200617_130130559.jpg IMG_20200617_130209095.jpg In AA tank mode, the Unit continues to use all it's weaponry with the added bonus of a cloaking module, allowing it to hide in plain sight and turn a seemingly abandoned base into a protected one near instantaneously. The addition of two Unguided Rocket Pods give it a defense against other vehicles, although not strong enough for any real combat. It's tank treads are capable of traversing rocky terrain, allowing it to fire from mountainsides. It's main drawback is it's low armor and near useless against anything other than aircraft, as other armor types are much thicker and harder to cut into with it's lasers.     Combat Medic Unit

    The Combat Medic Unit was designed to support Medic Units and the wounded under fire.

    In robot mode, the Unit features a clip joint hand and it's Repair Tool for the other, a telescoping welder. On each arm is a short range Stun Shotgun to protect itself when using it's main tool, the Mini Bubble Shield. The small beacon is a miniature version of the dome shields used by Titans, allowing the Unit to tend to the injured protected from incoming fire. This and a small Auto Defense Turret allow the Combat Medic Unit to charge into fire and patch up allies, getting to locations where normal medics cannot.     In flatbed truck mode, the Unit can carry all of its equipment or even patients in it's truck bed. This allows it to quickly get to or transport other Units thanks to it's reinforced armor and now secured turret. It's speed is unparalleled compared to other medics, but it's braking and handling qualities are poor. These pros and cons leave it as a extreme specialist due to its kit requiring heavy strain on the Combat Medic Unit itself.     Spotter Unit

    The Spotter Unit was designed to detect oncoming enemies from a long distance.

    In robot mode, the Unit features clip joint hands and carries no extra weapons. The Unit itself does not suit combat and is designed to act as a support role. The lense structure however, can release a pulse in a radius around the Unit. This pulse can detect life forms, allowing the Unit to discover ambushers or cloaked enemies who plan to invade the backline. IMG_20200626_105854187.jpg IMG_20200626_110032454.jpg
    In telescope vehicle mode, the Unit gains two Long Range Sonar Rocket Pods, capable of tracking enemies with sensors on board the rockets. It's large lense setup can see into close space and across horizons, allowing to relay incoming enemy air forces or strategic emplacements. The Unit overall is designed to detect enemies from a far distance, so it's low armor and few weapons makes it poor on the battlefield. Some use this bodytype to assist in space research such as star mapping, as the telescope can be somewhat of a substitute for a proper observatory.     Pesticide Unit

    The Pesticide Unit was designed to protect areas by spraying various gasses.

    In robot mode, the Unit features posable fingers and has two Mini Cannons on it's head for defense. The mode's main strengths is it's lifting power and ability to fly short distances by using it's propeller. Despite this, it's armor is poor, as the alt mode frame is not suited for combat.     In biplane mode, the Unit gains five Gas Launchers, four static on the wings and one rotating one underneath. These can launch chemicals, but they tend to carry insecticide to combat the Insecticon horde in energon farms and deposits. It's hands convert to grapplers, allowing it to carry materials or vats of fire prevention liquid when used for that purpose. Some more malicious Units use corrosive gas in their launchers as a deadly weapon to other Units.     Urban Sanitation Unit

    The Urban Sanitation Unit was designed to clean and maintain busy roads and small alleys.

    In robot mode the Unit features posable fingers and has control of the alt mode's Hydro Cannons, twin launchers that fire water or other liquids at a high pressure. These can be used for self defense if necessary, as the pressure can easily knock down even heavy Units. This usage outside of vehicle mode can have the same effect on the Unit firing it as well, as they are prone to launching themselves back when not using their stabilizers on their legs.     In turreted street sweeper mode, the Unit gains four Rotating Buffers to clean and sweep away debris from the road. The stabilizers used in robot mode act similar to the Hydro Cannons, except they use pressured air rather than water. Although extremely rare, sometimes removal of the turret is done to allow the alt mode's minimal height to be used, but this leaves the robot mode incomplete and is therefore not practiced often.     Parry Unit

    The Parry Unit was designed to fill various roles by defending itself and others with it's unique defensive tech.

    In robot mode, the Unit features clip joint hands and can use it's shoulder mounted Concussion Cannons, excellent for short to mid range combat. It's main feature is it's twin floating AI Shields, stored on each arm. These are equiped with advanced drone intelligence,and are capable of acting independently by detaching whenever they detect a threat. This allows them to quickly parry an attack faster than most Units can react to, making sneak attacks near impossible. They can be manually controlled by the Unit to protect something other than itself. The Unit's overall design makes its cumbersome but defensive, making them ideal for battlefield strategists and point defenders.     In tracked cannon vehicle mode, the Unit can still use it's weapons, but not it's shields. They must be deployed before converting modes, but this leaves the vehicle with less armor. The vehicle's poor speed makes up by having incredible towing power. This gives the Unit the possible role of assisting Medic and Combat Medic Units with it's shields, towing away the injured.
