It looks like Wal-mart and several other places beat them to it.

 

Unless they're selling later waves, like the Devastator combiner or something, it's only two days before the street date. I can wait until Saturday, thanks.

 

....This was revealed way back when the brochures first went online.

And yeah, I'm just having someone else pick up the figures for me while I'm gone. Paying the horrendous CA sales tax isn't worth it for two days early, and I'd have to go on a road trip to get the various exclusives anyways.

 

There are already quite a few threads open about figures being available now.

Botcon is a bit too late to the scene.

 

This was clearly the intention, as was noted months ago on the brochure for the convention. It doesn't seem like that will truly be the case, but collectors should still be able to get "First Day of Issue" stamps on the ones bought at BotCon, which might be notable for some folks....
